23.01.2022 Before and after of a front entrance. The original door frame was taken out and the entrance cut wider to accommodate a 1020 wide front entrance door. The style of door and semi translucent glass gave the front of their house the modern look they were after : )

21.01.2022 Our clients were wrapped that we were able to complete their pair of front doors by Christmas. Their original opening featured a single front door and two side lights which were looking worse for wear through the effects of weathering and age. So the clients chose to alter their opening to feature a pair of Cedar front entrance doors with triple glazed lead lighting. A pair of back to back pull handles and an electronic lock put the finishing touches on what turned out to b...e a very stylish front opening. 20.01.2022 A little while ago we did a job for a client who originally had two openings that featured pairs of sliding doors. Our client wanted better sound insulation so we removed the sliding doors, door tracks and the pelmets and installed a pair of French doors made from Meranti timber in each opening. For privacy purposes, the French doors featured semi translucent glass which also gave the doors a nice modern touch. By installing doors that properly enclose an opening, you can also warm or cool these rooms more efficiently than before.

20.01.2022 We recently completed a job where the clients wanted to fill in their floor to ceiling opening with a pair of doors and a bulk head so that we could marry the existing cornice together. The end result came up a treat and the clients were very impressed that we made their floor to ceiling opening seemingly undetectable from its original state. Especially once it received a few coats of paint : )

19.01.2022 Last job before we took a short break over Christmas before getting back into the groove of things : ) Our clients felt a change was needed to their front entrance in order to update the style to something a little more modern. They were wrapped with the finished product

18.01.2022 Earlier this year we completed a floating Jarrah floor for a client that was tired of her old carpet in the living area. She wanted a surface that was easier to clean so she got us to install a floating tongue and groove style Jarrah floor which came together a treat. The traditional tongue and groove style created a sturdy fixing for each board which ultimately led to a secure floor that was finished off with single bull nosed Jarrah skirting.

16.01.2022 Earlier this week we took out two old window sashes that we’re looking worse for wear and replaced them with new ones. The client wanted to keep the lead lighting in the original sashes so we carefully removed the old window putty to extract the glass. Once extracted we then slotted them inside the new sashes and installed some new window hardware to secure the opening. Once they’re painted they will look like the original sashes in which that will achieve the purpose of the project : )

15.01.2022 Today we finished off a job where we had to install a sliding door in front of a toilet opening for an elderly couple. They wanted easy access without the inconvenience of not being able to open a swinging door into the small confines of the toilet if her husband has another fall and needs assistance getting him out. Due to the height of the ceiling in the toilet, we had to install the sliding door on the outside of the toilet opening. To counter the gap created between the ...door and the frame, we nailed a thin bead to the inside of the door which covered the gap and restricted anyone being able to look inside. Afterwards we painted the door for them using two oil based undercoats and finished off with a full gloss enamel top coat which came up a treat. The clients were very happy and at ease they now have an operating system that would make any future mishaps easier to handle.

12.01.2022 Today we replaced a pair of damaged front doors with two Humes XIL6, stain grade, Illusion Series doors for a client in Landsdale. The Africana glass lets plenty of light inside to illuminate the hallway during the day whilst adding privacy during both the day and night.

03.01.2022 We replaced a gyprock ceiling that was originally installed in an outdoor alfresco with cedar coloured Glosswood lining boards. The finished result came up an absolute treat and the clients were very impressed.

02.01.2022 Last week we finished off a deck for two clients who wanted a natural timber deck to allow them to sit under their new patio in a comfortable and spacious environment. The clients chose a natural timber deck and the style of balustrade to suit the era of the house and the style of their backyard.
