24.01.2022 Owen Pool works have begun! We will keep patrons informed of opening times and planned event details/changes when they become available. Due to COVID restrictions and completion of important infrastructure we are unsure when the pool will open. Like you, we are keen to get the pool open! 18.01.2022 Did you know swimming while sick can contaminate pool water? . People with: Viral gastroenteritis or norovirus: should not swim in a pool until there has be...en no diarrhoea for at least 24 hours. Gastro caused by the cryptosporidium bug (crypto): should not swim for 14 days after symptoms have settled (your doctor will arrange for you to have a stool test if they suspect you might have crypto infection). . This will help to prevent spreading the disease to other people. Other swimmers can become infected by swallowing a very small amount of contaminated pool water. . 18.01.2022 Found in the filter..... If you bring items to the pool can you please remember to take them home! These items can clog the filter and cause pool issues. Thanks!

15.01.2022 CLOSURE OF POOL SEASON FRIDAY Please be advised the pool season will close early, commencing Friday 20 March, given that cooler weather is forecast and to ensure the health of our community. We wish to thank our volunteers and sponsors for their support during the swimming season because without them our pool would not be able to open.... We welcome you to come down to the pool today and tomorrow and log the last of your laps and make the most of the warm weather. We look forward to returning later in the year with our Mexican Party- it will be a great way to kick of the season! Thank you
