25.01.2022 With the cold weather there is nothing like enjoying a delicious meal by the fire. These cookbooks are in library to help tingle your tastebuds. Bon Appétit!
24.01.2022 Billy wasn’t horsing around when he visited Owl’s Book Box. After getting saddled with a few new books he was hot-to-trot. Our library might be developing a colt following!
21.01.2022 You may have noticed that the library is empty. I’m just giving everything a clean before I fill it back up tomorrow. From tomorrow please don’t donate or return books. I have plenty of books and will keep it stocked up with freshly wiped down books. If I start running out of books I will put out a seperate box to take donations. Please use the hand sanitiser before opening the door. Enjoy the pleasure a good book brings

16.01.2022 We now have a community art journal in the street library. Please borrow the journal and create something. This is not about being good at art but just contributing something of your own creativity. I’m really looking forward to seeing what develops.
15.01.2022 In the library now: Book review by David Goldsmith. Surely You’re Joking, Mr. Feynman! By Richard P. Feynman. An interesting and often hilarious romp through the life of a Nobel prize winning theoretical physicist. A page turner that will hold your interest to the end.
09.01.2022 We have had a big donation of cookbooks from Vivienne. Thank you. Now you can take your tastebuds on a holiday.
07.01.2022 I will be putting a selection of books in the library today. These are all the titles I currently have to offer. If you see one you would particularly like please send me a msg and I will put it in the library.
04.01.2022 This weekend we have our guest curator, Jorja. She has picked a wide variety of genres and hopes it will appeal to you all.
02.01.2022 In the Library now: Book review. Australian Ripping Yarns by Paul Taylor. Interesting short stories of shady characters of Australian history. I found the stories about the people living in the penal colonies the most interesting. A couple of people that really stood out was cannibal Alexander Pearce who now has his own movie, and John Christie who was Australia’s real life precursor to fiction’s Sherlock Holmes.
