From his early days of making small cars and racing tracks in the clay around the dams on his family’s farm, to school projects, and then learning to use the pottery wheel Ian has been completely hooked! Making a wide range of functional pottery products from his studio OXART pottery in Darley (Bacchus Marsh), Ian loves to make functional and aesthetically pleasing pottery for people to use. His work is tactile and ergonomic, designed to enjoy and use daily. All products from OXART pottery are dishwasher, microwave and oven proof. OXART pottery has opened a 2nd studio in Taradale near Kyneton where they will be expanding the variety of classes and workshops already on offer. It is an exciting new venture, which Ian and the team at OXART are looking forward to sharing with everyone in the near future.
