24.01.2022 Hidden sugars are a killer for teeth, not just for Adults but also for Children. Brushing twice daily and rinsing with water after every meal can help flush the mouth from any nasties. This is a great article regarding Hidden Sugars you might not realise you and your kids are consuming regularly.

23.01.2022 Wishing our wonderful Hygienist Dani a big Happy Birthday from the weekend Birthdays at Oxford Dental are always so special and filled with yummiest of treats from the best bakeries Adelaide has to offer!

23.01.2022 Did you know 1 in 4 children do not brush their teeth before going to bed!? Going to sleep with teeth full of food can cause decay and invites germs to grow- yucky! Implementing a solid bedtime routine that includes teeth brushing is critical for oral health and prevention of ongoing dental treatment into Adulthood. ... Arguing with your child each night to brush their teeth might waste time, but will save you time and money spent at the dentist in the long run... Pledge for a positive bedtime routine See more

19.01.2022 COVID-19 Dental Practice Update Although the rest of the country is moving back to Level 2 Restrictions on Monday, unfortunately South Australia has yet to be given the all clear. We expect a start date for South Australia to be announced very soon but at this stage we still ask for your patience.... We understand it can be frustrating, especially if you are waiting for a filling but we are trying our best to deliver quality service and safest practises for you. Updates to come | Oxford Dental Practice PH: 8357 8900

19.01.2022 WE ARE OPEN As of this Thursday, 30th of April we are officially open! South Australia has finally been given the all clear to start practicing on Level 2 Restriction.... We have attached what Level 2 Restrictions look like for our patients to understand what we can and can not practice. Hygiene will also be back open but with Hand Scaling Only. If you are experiencing any cold or flu symptoms we ask that you reschedule any appointments and do not come into the practice still. Call Kaylee to schedule any appointments and for further information PH: 8357 8900

18.01.2022 COVID-19 Update: Due to new restriction put in place to protect our patients and our workers during this time, the following will be implemented immediately: - Hygiene are still available for appointments, with Hand Scaling only. ... - Dental appointments will still be available as per normal with restrictions on some services. Dr Goh will be able to advise when in the practice and offer alternative treatments temporarily - We will be pre-screening all our patients before treatment with the following: Dear patients, Due to the new guidelines presented to the dental profession, please declare the following: You or any member of your household have NOT returned from overseas or interstate within the last 14 days? You and all members of your household are currently well and do not exhibit any cold or flu like symptoms. We appreciate your honesty and assistance in this difficulty time. - As of next week, we will only have the minimum staff needed to work in the practice, to minimise person to person contact: Kaylee, Dr Goh and Hygienist This will also help with the square metre spacing and social distancing regulation put in place by the government. We appreciate your patience during this time and encourage you to leave a voice message for us to get back to you if the phone is unattended, remembering that Kaylee and Dr Goh may be in the middle of treatment when you call. 17.01.2022 Happy Easter EveryBunny! Although we might not be celebrating with our families and friends this year, remember how luck we are to have the loved ones in our lives. And yes, Easter Day kids get a pass to eat as much chocolate as they want... as long as they brush their teeth both morning and night

17.01.2022 Wishing everyone a happy and safe long weekend! Don't forget, the state is open for business and some of the places like Adelaide Hills and Kangaroo Island that were hit hard from the Bush Fires have now been heavily effected again due to COVID-19. Do your bit, #supportlocal and #Bookthemout

16.01.2022 We are coming back! The Prime Minister announced that dentistry is going back to level 2 restrictions next week. After many weeks of stress, dealing with impossible freight conditions, ever changing and unpredictable export laws, all with people in another country, our KN95 face masks finally arrived. As we get back to work next week we are feeling a bit more comforted finally having our high filtration masks and gowns so we can help look after our patients with greater peace of mind for all of us. Our practice is following strict protocols to ensure everyones safety. If anyone needs KN95 face masks or knows any businesses, hospitals or anyone else who needs some, let me know by PM as we at long last now have a reliable source for them for everyone in need.

15.01.2022 Untreated Tooth Decay has been on the rise over the last decade, but did you know that leaving decay in your mouth can cause health risks? Having long term tooth decay untreated and poor oral health may lead to heart disease, affects on the brain, loss of teeth as well as other health risks. We at Oxford Dental Practice do not believe in the old 'Drill and Fill' behaviour as previously seen in the dental world.... We encourage prevention by providing our patients with the best at home products to use daily, provide hygiene services, offer X-Ray and recommend 6 monthly routine dental appointments.

15.01.2022 HAPPY FRIDAY!! Hygiene spots are filling up fast for the rest of 2020! Get in quick to secure your spot. Call us today on 8357 8900 :)

14.01.2022 *We would love for your you to check out the new video our clients have made for us. Recently our practice was very happy to have met one of the Australia's lea...ding personal trainers, the very inspirational Kwame Duah. Kwame is the star of our new practice video! We were impressed with the very professional Onecast Media group who produced this fantastic video for us, showcasing some of what we do at our dental practice. We are very proud that we brought innovations like LUMINEERS no drill, no needle porcelain veneers, Snap On Smile, First Fit, LUMIBRITE Teeth Whitening, Sapphire/Velscope mouth cancer detection systems, and many other dental materials and technologies to Australia for our own patients and other dentists through our business www.godental.com.au. Our first and biggest love though is meeting and looking after our many, many patients, lots of whom have become good friends over the years too! Also If you would like an introduction to the video production team, feel free to let me know!

12.01.2022 ***THANK YOU for reading this long post! *** My family and I are overwhelmed by the posts, messages, calls, and massive support we have received in the last few days from family, friends, patients, and our Facebook friends. It is certainly helping us through this very painful time. We are also very grateful for the gifts sent to us. They have meant so much. My father, Geok Soo Gohs funeral will be held at Westbourne Park Uniting Church on Friday 31st January, at 2PM. All of ...our family, friends, clients, supporters and anyone whose whose life was touched by Dad is most welcome to join us to celebrate his life. We would be grateful if you could Please let me know if you would like to attend. In January 2018 my father was diagnosed with one of the rarest cancers in the world. He was only one of 3 people in the entire country with this horrific blood cancer. Very little is understood about this cancer, and there is no known, readily available cure. He was told he had just 3 months with a maximum of 6 months to live and he would be in terrible pain. He fought on despite the awful death sentence and importantly kept his quality of life for the entire duration of his illness. We were privileged to share wonderful times with him, for nearly two years longer than he was given. Sadly, despite his insistence that he was fine, and his fight to live until his very last moments, he passed suddenly this week, in our arms. My father was the most stubborn man I have ever known. He believed in fighting for what he saw as being important. He was also a kind, loving, and generous man. He opened our home to many people, gave to many others, supported strangers and believed in helping a variety of charities. And he was a very practical and utilitarian man of very simple wants and needs. Dad never saw the point in receiving gifts for or spending money on himself, hated wasting money, and did not like getting flowers. He preferred to give and share with others, especially he cared about. Therefore, in his honour, our family would invite you to donate to the Flinders Foundation to support Leukaemia research by clicking and using the link below in lieu of flowers. Together with his unrelenting stubbornness to live life on his terms, the care given by Flinders Medical Center certainly played an important role in giving us that incredibly valuable extra time we shared with him. We are very grateful for all the staff who looked after dad, especially Professor Bryone Kuss. We hope that the funds can help her and her team find better treatments and perhaps a cure for blood cancers like Dads. https://flindersfoundation-inlovingmemory.gofundraise.com.a

12.01.2022 Last night we were lucky enough to attend an event at Transform Orthodontic Care with the Norwood Football Club Women's Team. We listened to Dr De Angelis speak about Invisalign, as well as the health benefits of straighten teeth, not just for atheistic reasons. We were able to speak to the girls about Teeth Whitening, as well as our No Pain Laser Dentistry options.... Overall it was a great evening, thank you for having us!

12.01.2022 Do you have an appointment scheduled with us next week or beyond? Please call our practice regarding the postponement of your treatment. Kaylee has been doing a fantastic job of getting in contact with as many patients as possible due to the new restrictions put in place by the Government on Dental. However, she has not been able to reach all of you. ... Please check your diaries for any upcoming appointments and give us a call. For any facial trauma, facial swelling or advice needed, please call and discuss your options with Kaylee PH: 8357 8900

11.01.2022 The Long Weekend is finally here! Kaylee will be off enjoying her much needed break with her family. 10.01.2022 Although we can not march, we can still stand with them. Although we can not gather, they are not alone. Today we remember all the Men, Women and Animals who have fallen for us to live in peace.... Lest We Forget | ANZAC Day 2020

10.01.2022 A Thank You post to our many wonderful and generous patients. These are just some of the amazing gifts we received over the last two weeks alone!!! But it is no...t just the fattening presents we are so grateful for. Most of all it is the faith and trust our patients put into our practice and their many kind referrals that we are even more thankful for. We decided to stop paid advertising a few years ago. No more yellow pages, google ads and other print media. But we have remained continuously growing and always busy thanks to the continuous referrals from our long-standing and even our new clients to our practice for cosmetic, laser, implants, and general dentistry. So a very special THANK YOU to our great patients for their kindnesses and ongoing support! Our practice (and our waistlines) wouldn’t keep growing without you! I also want to personally thank my caring and loyal staff for all of their efforts to look after our patients and myself through this very trying year. Having great staff helps keeps everyone feeling comfortable and cared for, and makes coming to work fun for everyone rather than just a job. A very Well Done to new mum and our wonderful ex manager Amy Pawlowski for bringing this fantastic group together. Our team has been so supportive of each other through this awful year and I couldn’t be happier with their efforts.

08.01.2022 COVID-19 Update Unfortunately due to the Level 3 Restrictions still in place, we are still unable to see regular patients. However we are here for you!... Our number one priority during this time is: - Facial Swelling - Facial Truma - Sudden on set of pain If you do not have one of the above, but still experiencing dental issues please do not hesitate to call us to discuss options on PH: 8357 8900 Did you know you can also Facebook message us!? All messages go directly to our Practice Manager Amy and Dr Goh, someone will respond to you as soon as possible. We understand this is not an ideal situation, but we are doing our best to support our patients, their family and protect the community! Oxford Dental Practice PH: 8357 8900

04.01.2022 One of the best parts of our work is the generosity and kindness we receive from our grateful clients. As a thank you for getting rid of his apparently chainsaw... snoring, our patient (and his happy partner) gave us this beautiful bottle of wine. It is one of my favourite local wines, the 2009 Geoff Merrill Reserve Shiraz. We were the first dental practice in SA to offer Nightlase, which is a non surgical, painless and safe laser snoring treatment. One of the interesting things that happened during this very difficult year is that this has become one of our most popular cosmetic procedures! We could not be more grateful to our clients for their faith in us and their very lovely gifts that we thoroughly enjoyed with friends! See more

02.01.2022 Did you know sugar is the #1 cause of tooth decay!? Instantly please will assume this relates to Lollies, Junk Foods, Soft Drinks but that is not always the case. Sugars are also found in a lot of healthy diets due to Fruits and Vegetables.... The best way to prevent decay from sugar build up on your teeth is by trying to implement the following: - Drink plenty of water, especially after anything you eat - Floss nightly as a toothbrush can not reach all areas - Brush your teeth morning and night - Interdental brushes are great to carry in your bag or car for any food trap emergencies Life can still be sweet, but your teeth don't have to suffer!
