I have a session running on Sunday 15th in Trott Park if anyone is interested..only a few places left. Check out my website to make a booking at www.resinworkshops.com.au Cheers Di

23.01.2022 We must be thinking of the beach and the hot sunny days as it reflected in everyones work this weekend, lots of beach cheeseboards, lazy Susans and tables made at the resin workshop.

22.01.2022 This weekends resin workshops produced some pretty good work, again new colour combinations, some of which I would not think are complementary but turn out to be very nice pieces. Check out my events page for upcoming workshops. Cheers Di for OxArt

16.01.2022 Look what I made, now to destroy the chopping board and then put it back together in the mould. I think I'm going to do this one clear with some dried chillis running through the middle

16.01.2022 It was a bit cool and rainy in Tanunda, but we produced some great resin pieces at the weekend workshops. Check out the Autumn leaf wall art!

15.01.2022 Resin pieces from Auburn this weekend what an awsome effort. 15.01.2022 I finally pulled my finger out and got to the finishing stages of my collage. To complete it I will be adding a layer or two of resin.

14.01.2022 Some great resin work created in KI this weekend. It was a little chilly but we managed to keep the hall warm. Next workshop will be in November. Keep an eye on my website for updates www.resinworkshops.com.au https://www.facebook.com/pg/oxleyart/

14.01.2022 Just thought I'd let you know that the Better Homes and Gardens magazine has free silicone christmas bauble moulds. I'm trying them out with my glitter resin...go out and grab a mag before they all go!

14.01.2022 Ok everyone, I made a big booboo I miscalculated the costings for this moulding workshop and offered it for $120, erm! big error here as it takes a lot of material to make the mould and it aint cheap, I don't recieve any discount when I buy it, so the session was going to cost me money to run them, now that aint right. If you have already booked in then that is what you will pay. Any new bookings will be $150. Learn how to make this river cheeseboard mould in my Trott Park S...tudio (3.5hr workshop) We will build the frame, make the sillicone mould, cut the cheeseboard to whatever shape you want and pour the resin to complete the cheeseboard.(chillies feature only, if you want to add these you will need to return the same day to top up your resin) The resin used for this project takes 2 days to set enough to de-mould and will require collection after that time. Sessions are on the 7th or 28th June or 18th July. Please book through my events page at www.resinworkshops.com.au Cheers Di for OxArt

13.01.2022 Sneak peak of my chilli cheeseboard..watch this space

12.01.2022 This is a resin commision piece that I created for Treasury Wine Estates, Barossa Packaging to celebrate their 15 year anniversary. Wine barrel lids have wax around the edges to create the seal to the barrel and as we all know wax or anything oily will repel resin. It was a battle of wills to create this piece so that it had a flawless finish. It looks great on its stand don't you think?

11.01.2022 30cm x 1 metre x 50mm commision, she's going to be a beauty customer wants a cobolt blue resin centre, all the nooks and crevices will have slithers of blues running through them. Follow my page to see the progress. Cheers Di

11.01.2022 If restrictions are lifted tommorrow I will be running both workshops on Sunday. Resin workshop 09:30am -12:30pm Wave workshop 3:30pm-6:30pm. I have sent individual messages to participants but thought I would post it here too..cross your fingers xx

10.01.2022 Just to let everyone know that due to a spill over (over full) of the workshop on Sunday I have opened up Saturday 12th Sept If you are interested please checkout my events on my website at www.resinworkshops.com.au Cheers Di

09.01.2022 Here is my second commisioned piece. This is for Derek an adopted person who is working on his memoir. This weekend he is travelling to the NT to visit his mum's grave for the first time and to place this piece on her grave. His mum was a feminist. The work has the ceremonial version of the 'Apology for forced adoptions' in the centre. Using the colours of the suffragettes which are green, white and purple I created a modern version with a contempory design, the flower shapes... symbolise the blossoming and growth of women in the world today. Good luck Derek, our thoughts will be with you. Cheers Di See more
