24.01.2022 Oxley Sailing Club - Tackers 1 Fully booked again! First day of holiday fun, towing, capsize drill, and lots of sailing. Great group of kids all ready for more tomorrow.
23.01.2022 Day four, final day of Oxley Holiday Tackers. We started with 20 Tackers and finished with 20 Tackers! Thanks to all the volunteers that helped make a wonderful introduction to the sport of sailing. Not a lot of wind today but we still managed to get a few hours sailing, followed by cake, certificates and Tackers Packs! See you all soon in Tackers Two.

22.01.2022 Ample breeze running down our stretch created testing conditions for our Tackers 2 Juniors yesterday (following two weeks of little breeze and hot/humid conditions). Our brief; to focus on enjoyment and positivity - around a triangle course went not without challenge! But as always there was much to take away - adventures had, ways to improve, stories to tell! ...In the true spirit of sailing and our rapidly developing 'grass roots' club culture - our resolve and relationships strengthened - a great day for all! Onwards 'me harties!
21.01.2022 Great to have our juniors back sailing today! Wind was little on the light side but wonderful to get back on the water. Thanks to everyone for their socially distancing support and help.
21.01.2022 Club Racing Update as promised. Little debris and only minor river height increases. At this stage club racing will proceed as normal with 2.20pm start. No wind now. Hope for more later.... Keith Briers
20.01.2022 Another great weekend of sailing at Oxley. Junior BATS sailing on Saturday morning, junior and senior racing in the afternoon. Tackers 2 all day Sunday, with 12 Tacker boats on the water. Great weekend everyone! Thanks to all volunteers that make our wonderful club tick.
20.01.2022 Our final day of Tackers 2. What a fantastic group of kids! Not a lot of wind so there was plenty of time for games. Cake, certificates and burgers, what a great day! Well done to all all our Tackers 2 kids, you are amazing. See you all in two weeks time for BATS Green Fleet!
19.01.2022 The annual On the Nose and Tristram Shield trophy races between South Brisbane Sailing Club and Oxley Sailing Club were sailed yesterday at Oxley. What a fantastic turn out from our SBSC friends! Lots of Lasers and NS14’s turned up from SBSC to fight it out for the title. Lovely Oxley breeze a saw two races back to back followed by BBQ presentation. Oxley, with the home ground advantage, managed to win both trophies this year - well done to all that sailed. Special thanks to all the wonderful volunteers from both clubs that made the regatta a wonderful afternoon. Photos thanks to Joyza Robinson.

16.01.2022 Tackers 2 With little wind and small flood in the river it was a day in clubhouse for Our Tackers 2. Plenty to learn - well done to our AI’s, Issy, Lily, Conner, Joe, Freddie and Alex who managed to keep our team happy and engaged - lots of sailing next week.
