07.01.2022 Dear clients, There is important changes at Oxley Village Vet. With the advice to veterinary clinics changing daily to curb the transmission of the COVID-19, Oxley Village Vet will now conduct all consults over the phone while the client waits in the car. ... 1. When you arrive, park outside the clinic and call us 2. A nurse will come out and get your pet from the car 3. The vet will conduct the consult over the phone with you 4. The nurse will assist the vet to examine your pet 5. The vet will call after the consultation 6. Payments will be made over the phone while you remain in your car 7. The nurse will then return your pet to you All vet clinics are starting to implement this new protocol based on advice from the Australian Veterinary Association. This is to protect our staff to ensure we can keep operating and providing health care to your pets during this time. Even though you will be remaining in your car, we still ask that you do not bring your pet to the vet if you have any cold or flu-like symptoms. If you do, please ensure someone else brings your pet to the clinic. Please be patient as we implement this new protocol. There may be delays, but we will continue to do our best. Thank you.
