02.01.2022 REPOST from our amazing member @katie_does_things. What a legend! I love these events SO much more when you have a team. Absolute cracker of a day for the Corporate Triathlon. So much fun, running from one viewing spot to another, cheering teammates, trying to remember who's up to what, who goes next and who should be in transition waiting for the tag (@nesacox please be our race coordinator next time ). Having race buddies and cheersquad sure makes a difference When y...ou hear them and see them, and see that camera, you sure smile and run faster! One of my favourite events cos it's a whole lot of people of every level of sporting ability, just having a go and having an awesome time. Super stoked to hit sub 1hr (albeit a mini-race ), beat my 2 teammates in the swim (!?!) and we came 57th out of 350 in mixed!!
