31.01.2022 For many years I have been telling my customers just how dangerous gases can be, even inert gases. So in the last 2 years I have seen two different branded argon regulators fail from new, and blow apart, one of which the bonnet blew into the operators face requiring 30+ stitches, he was lucky he wasn't killed. Now I have come across this accident that happened in Westdale near Tamworth NSW the other day. 19.01.2022 I'm making some OXY/LPG trolleys for some of my customers because good quality ones are impossible to obtain here in Melbourne. They are designed and made right here by me a qualified boilermaker in Langwarrin, not in China. I will have some for sale hopefully before Christmas. They are specifically designed for a 45kg LPG cylinder and a G sized Oxygen cylinder, and they will also include a tool tray at the back, with a pressure and flow chart sticker, so you will always have... the right information for the tip or nozzle you are using. If you are using Oxygen/Acetylene heating torches for heating on a single cylinder of acetylene, contact me straight away, what you are doing is not safe. You need a complete Oxygen/LPG heating torch set up, I can put a kit together for you, just drop me a line to discuss your needs. 12.01.2022 I recently test five oxysets, just some of the equipment I had to replace because they were damaged, leaked or didn't pass testing. I especially liked the cutting tip with plumbers teflon tape to try to seal the gas leak, incredibly dangerous, very lucky it didn't blow up in their face. If your equipment hasn't been properly tested in the last 12 months please contact me to arrange a time to get it tested. Full written report on all components tested.
