17.01.2022 All we need in life is that one good friend. They don't have to live next door or even in the same Country. Having them is knowing you can pick up the phone or write to them- knowing you can express yourself without fear or judgement. You know no matter what they will be honest and true to their word. If you feel like having a friendship with someone is forced take that as a sign that they aren't going to be a close friend - don't put your eggs in the wrong baskets.
17.01.2022 I had my endometriosis cleared out during my emergency cesarean with my second child, and I was told it was carnage in there. That was the exact words my surgeon used. Three years later my symptoms are coming back worse than ever before. My periods are increasingly heavy, to the point I am bleeding through 45 minutes after changing into a new maternity or overnight pad. Literally soaking through everything. Pain on and off my cycle, bloating that becoming crippling to mo...ve, bowel issues, mood issues... This is all on top of the symptoms I have with my PCOS. I have signed up and been accepted to do medical trials for endometriosis treatment. I hope we can work together to establish a cure for the 1 in 10 who are diagnosed with this disease. If you would like to learn more about Endometriosis please check out the link below and consult your GP if you suspect you may be suffering with endo. https://www.endometriosisaustralia.org/about-endo

12.01.2022 Working with pendulums. You’ll know you’re working with one when you see a triangular looking gemstone connected to a chain. A pendulum is a tool that is used ...to connect to your higher self - ( source) and by asking questions to help guide, clarify, and raise your awareness. I personally, like to use my pendulum within my readings in areas that need that extra clarification. Take note of which way the pendulum swings for your questions, (example: ask a question that you know the answer has to be YES , then ask again for NO ) Try it a few times, until you feel comfortable using the pendulum. A pendulum can be used in various scenarios where you just want to gain a little more clarity, connection, or a clearer understanding of something. You can ask the pendulum questions about life, love, health, career, moneywhether simple or complex. -Consult with your pendulum whenever you feel the need, but think of it as more of a spiritual practice. Just remember: The pendulum can only answer yes or no questions. So make sure to ask questions in a clear and specific way that can allow you to get a clear answer. Don't forget to thank your energies or source for their guidance , once you have finished. See more

07.01.2022 I have been fairly consistent with lunches this term, my 5 yr old has been up and down with the food she likes. I have noticed she really observes what other kids are getting for lunch. I like to think I give her healthy lunches 90% of the time, I do throw in the occasional treat to keep it fun and exciting. I get stuck for ideas some days that are cost effective and tasty. I swear berry prices go up every season. So we have since bought a blueberry bush and strawberries to... grow our own this spring/summer. Whats a hit in your kids lunch box and whats a common miss?

04.01.2022 I have been following Ash and Bobbi for a while now on tiktok. Sadly beautiful Bobbi passed away last week from brain cancer. Bobbi went through so much in her little life. My heart is broken for their family. I struggle with seeing people sick- especially children. It shakes me to my core and I feel so helpless. I remind myself my feelings aren't even close to the agony, stress, anxiety, sadness, pain and brokenness that the people who are actually living that reality a...re feeling. I am thinking of you Ash, I am thinking of Bobbi. I am so sorry. I wish I knew what to say. I simply can't find the words to tell you in depth of how truely sorry I am. I am sending you love. Hug your babies, don't take those you love for granted and don't take your life for granted. Life, love and health is a gift. I have attached a copy of their Go Fund Me to help their family during this time. https://gf.me/u/yj2uv8 Love from OzMums - the_ethnic_mum https://vm.tiktok.com/ZSQFDV14/
03.01.2022 I dropped my crown today in the middle or the shop. I just wanted to go buy a few things for dinner and go home. My nearly 3 yr old son decided before we even got into the centre the he didn't want to hold my hand or be next to me. He proceeded to scurry down the escalator. A woman and her husband turned around and said loud enough for me to hear, "I hate kids that don't listen and mothers like her". I wasn't about to chase my son down as I knew he would run and pote...ntially get hurt or hurt a person passing by. Sometimes being a good mum is really challenging, then being publicly judged and scowled at can really put a dent in your confidence as a parent. I quickly grabbed my son, scrapped the idea of shopping and took him home while he was kicking and screaming at me. I then sat in the car in my driveway in tears as i felt I had failed that situation in my mind. My instinct was to tell this woman to "fuck off" but then i knew it would only make matters worse for me. I don't know what I could have done better today - besides leaving the situation and going home. I can understand why some mums and dads don't want to leave the house because it is an absolute mission. Especially when you have a child that wants their independence and at the same time are challenging you on a regular basis. It's hard, it's exhausting, and it makes it difficult to enjoy parenting at times. I have two kids and they are chalk and cheese. My son is a rooster and my daughter is a lamb. Two very different babies who have grown into two very different children. I know they will continue to change and the way i parent will have to grow and evolve with them. But all i ask, is if you see a parent in a difficult situation instead of commenting to put them down, offer them some support even a kind gentle nod or smile. You never know what they are battling inside. Be kind people. It's a hard world as it is, let's not make it any harder. Love always Anita x
