07.01.2022 Thank you so much to particularly my special family (that's partners too), including Regan Knight Nicala Knight Jacinta Reynolds who made the trip from interstate for their first walk, friends of Chris Cadigan, Nicole Cadman and me, friends of Andrew Cadigan, marathon man Matthew Daniels, and a whole lot of others, for turning up five years on to honour Cad and Simmo yesterday. I think too of people like Loretta who came for a second time and only met Cad briefly and Mandy wh...o also met him on the walk and travelled from the south coast; people who work with Glenn Rowlands and Anne Rowlands and joined us ; Stuart Ware and Julie and others dear to us. I can never express adequately what it means to see the warmth, and love, and respect when everyone gels for such a great cause. We have completed Cad's work in reaching the $180,000 we pledged to raise for the Leukaemia Foundation - all specifically going to MDS - through the efforts of so many. We move on now. Whatever happens from here, this day in 2013,14,15,16 and 17 - which is emotional and difficult for Chris and me but special, will remain with us forever.
