21.01.2022 Queensland Government and Police please see how a wrong decision can effect so many people who are doing the correct thing. Queensland has 10 times more people involved in Gel Ball than South Australia. Many Gel Ball fields raise funds for charities, Susan River Gel Ball, raise funds for Operation Hard Yakka, and Wounded Heroes in Brisbane. They receive nothing from Governments. Hope this doesn’t happen in Queensland.... Contact your State MPs and Candidates for the next election and get a promise from them on paper that they won’t be involved in destroying this great sport. Staffed by Ex Australian Military Instructors, Police Officers, Correctional Services, Security, Youth Workers, Business Operators, Retirees, Past Participants, etc. Operation Hard Yakka is the Longest running Youth Military Intervention Training Program in Australia. (Since July 2008) However we have been conducting other program types since January 1985....
