25.01.2022 After first arriving in April ‘19, the second of the two machines from the ex-Queensland Government Rescue machines, VH-ESD has been flown for down to Adelaide to start a new lease. Babcock Mission Critical Services has taken this 412HP to its fleet while some other machines come off for maintenance. After having the engines in and out three times throughout its year in Mudgee, the Oz Choppers team were happy to see it leave, for now.

22.01.2022 Exciting week for Oz Choppers as the first stages of a new shed are being commenced. ICE Earthmoving Pty Ltd has been out with a new digger getting the ground ready for a slab, tremendous work! The new shed will have a new parts store, paint preparation area and a mezzanine for odd pieces, to name a few. Watch this space.

20.01.2022 VH-HEH Bell 206L4 This machine was one of two L4’s that Oz Choppers received from Japan Police Force in late 2019 and will be delivered this coming week. The chopper was sold to company in Canberra and will be used for both private and business activities. The painters have done an amazing scheme as per the customers request, being painted inside and out. A completely new dash with a Garmin G500 TXI display looks stunning. Another highlight is the interior seating and carpets, being sent to Generation Global in NZ for a complete new custom leather with Bell logo stitching. Also, as per customers request Oz Choppers has fitted an air condition system. The helicopter looks amazing inside and out and a credit to the Oz Choppers & Airborne Avionics team for the product they put out

09.01.2022 Another 412 EP VH-ESB completed by Oz Choppers was picked up by Kestrel’s director Ray Cronin, pictured along side Mark and Kate Rogers. This machine had completed a full refurbishment at Oz Choppers inside and out from early 2019 and leaving Oct ‘19. The EP used to operate in Townsville as a search and rescue machine for the Queensland government. It is now fighting fires throughout Victoria. This is now Kestrels third Bell medium purchased off Oz Choppers.

07.01.2022 Another year done for Oz Choppers with a busy last week and some exciting projects turning up for 2020. After finally emptying the hangar of 2 Bell mediums which take up a lot of space, we have just received a pair of 206 L4s in immaculate condition from the Japanese Police Force. For the machines being over 20 years old, the Japanese have kept these machines in flawless condition inside and out. So as the photos show, the hangar is back to full capacity. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
