25.01.2022 PORTLAND WANTS YOU...

25.01.2022 Wishing everyone a Happy, Safe and Peaceful Christmas. <3

25.01.2022 JENOLAN CAVES ROAD REOPENS AT HAMPTON Great news for motorists, with Jenolan Caves Road now reopen at Hampton! I checked out some of the damage to the roa...d network earlier this week, and while work is ongoing at Five Mile with geotechnical engineers carrying out investigations on the slopes and road, it's great we've now been able to reopen Hampton under single-lane alternating access. Huge win for locals and the freight industry.

25.01.2022 Wonderful video! Thank you Keen, for allowing me to be involved in a small part. Heal the World, love each other, we are all in this together. Stay safe, stay strong, not just in China, but around the world. LOVE from Debra and Wayne Australia <3

24.01.2022 "Some shots from a wander up on Hassans Walls and Newnes State Forest Lithgow NSW late yesterday afternoon. Walking through the Forest A Poem About Nature by Justin Farley To walk through the forest and see sunlight shining through the trees is like a cool, refreshing breeze... to the spirit sweltering beneath the heat of worldly troubles. To walk through the forest and observe natures mysterious order is like a wall erected in the path of disorder, calming the chaotic thoughts in the mind of modern man. To walk through the forest and witness untainted beauty is like relieving the watchman from his duty worry retreats into the void to sleep while I gaze upon the work of divine hands. See more

23.01.2022 Congratulations to all involved in getting steam back on the tracks at Zig Zag Railway <3

08.01.2022 JENOLAN CAVES FIVE MILE ROAD TO REOPEN After bushfires, heavy rainfall and the hindrance of the pandemic, the NSW Government says it expects the Five Mile road at the Jenolan Caves precinct near Oberon to reopen by the end of May. The Minister for Regional Roads and Transport, Paul Toole, said safety has been a priority during the clean-up.... We want to make sure that its reopened so that when people can go back to the caves, they can do so safely, Mr Toole said. These conditions are very difficult because the Jenolan Caves Road is on the edge of very steep terrain." Hundreds of burnt trees and rockfalls have been removed while 2.5 kilometres of damaged guardrail have been replaced at a cost of around $2.5 million, he said.
