23.01.2022 Hi! And welcome to all the new Ozflick followers. It's been a long time since I've updated this page as for the last 18 months I've been based in China in the role of Coach, Consultant and Technical Director of Golden Saddle Equestrian Club in the beautiful tourism City Guilin. Due to the heartbreaking outbreak of the COVID19 virus and it's subsequent effects on the whole of Chinas economy it was decided that for the financial survival of the club I return back to Australia, ...not a lightly made decision. As stated it's been heartbreaking, leaving friends, colleagues and the clubs horses behind for an indefinite amount of time is a hard thing to get ones head around as the country continues to be in a lockdown mode with up to 70% of businesses country wide having to cease trading now for the past few weeks with no end time available. I feel I've abandoned my team at a time when a leader should be in amongst it and helping with the aftermath. However I am home and I am grateful to be physically safe from the potential harm of the spread of the virus. I will continue to consult on the survival of the club from afar whilst I rebuild once again here in Adelaide. I'm currently being "grounded" both physically and spiritually in self isolation for the next 11 days and plotting the next immediate plans for myself personally and Ozflick Equine. If you'd like to be part of those plans and would like to book in some time to discuss your own equestrian future, I'm only a message away, and can help talk you through where you currently are and where you are wanting to be in your equine journey. Thanks once again for finding this page and for following in my absence, hopefully during this down time I can also learn more about social media skills

12.01.2022 Hello friends and followers! Sincere apologies for the lack of posts......my reception at home is terrible and when I'm out and about I'm not normally thinking about posting...but today's adventure needs sharing! So today my friend and client Aleyce got to achieve her number one goal of going for a ride in the forest!... After a year of horse ownership (which a few months ago increased to two horse ownership ) today was the day to put her knowledge and skills to the test and take her two lovely horses Glamour and Guss for a leisurely ride in the forest . Aleyce has worked extremely hard this year in overcoming her fears and anxiety with her riding accumulating in today's perfect ride. The horses were on their best behavior, the weather was perfect and the company was as good as you could get. The horses loved the day out and even seemed a little sad that it was over. Next thing on Aleyce's list is a beach ride which we're planning for in the next week. It's such a great feeling helping and watching clients achieve their goals, however simple or complex. I love what I do and love watching the bond and connection grow between human and horse. Below are the photos of today successful ride, perhaps it might inspire you to ger started achieving your goals for 2019, if so, send me a message and lets chat about how ozflick equine can help make your dreams come true. Make 2019 your year !

10.01.2022 Hi folks! Remember me ? Sincerely apologise that my updates haven't been as regular as one running a Facebook business page should be, however life has been a bit hectic since returning home and it's taken a little bit to get things back into order! Anyhow quick update........ I've been busy planning a Pony Club cultural exchange camp for China PC members for next summer! It's going to be a fun filled 12 days packing in as much local SA horsw activities as possible starting with a trip to Kangaroo Island Pony Club! Ozflick Equine sponsored rider Amber Thomas has been doing both our club Southern Hills and Ozflick Equine proud taking out yet another 2 wins on the wekend for the third leg of the Southern Zone showjumping series! I'm just about to embark (tomorrow! ) on a road trip to Victoria to have a look at a dozen horses for clients located both here and in China. The China Pony Club members are looking for suitable pc mounts for their growing number of post D level riders ready to progress onto their C level and above! And I've also been busy getting passports and visas ready for my 2 youngest childrem to accompany me back to China in less than 2 weeks ! My dear big boy Bono has been feeling slightly neglected during my time at home with sporatic play sessions just not cutting it with him so again he is up for offer to a suitable home for a caretaking lease for the next 2 months if anyone is looking for a lovely young big horse to play with, pm me for more details if your interested. For anyone who was wanting to book in but haven't got around to it.....I do have a few spots available for my final week back home next week (24th-28th) if anyone is looking for some new tips or guidance and tune ups before I head back to China. New clients are welcome but please let me know asap as spaces are limited. And finally a big hello to any of our new followers and page viewers........thankfully my coaching and horse skills are better than my Facebooking update skills and please feel free to send me a message or enquire about how Ozflick Equine can help you on your journey to fulfill your horsey dreams!

07.01.2022 I love this guys understanding....... Not long ago my understand and knowledge was questioned by a young rider I met who's question to me was "well what level have you ridden and competed at?" Now as many of you know I haven't competed for many many years, it's not to say that perhaps one day I wouldn't like to give it another go however I was extremely fortunate enough when I was younger to very distinctly and clearly realise that competition was in fact detrimental to the ...relationship I have with my horse. It was at this point that I decided I didn't want to focus my life with horses on proving to anyone else that I was worthy by producing competition results, I wanted to dedicate my life to continued learning regarding the art and mastery of equestrian. My journey hasn't always beeen pretty and there has been a lot of mistakes and heart ache along the way as well as a lot of non equestrian life that has also played a part in who I am but one thing is always constant.....the more you learn the more you realise you still have a lot to learn and even as a coach and a coach trainer I'm constantly reading and seeking out new information that is relevant to the industry as a whole and the continued progress of horse welfare and horse human relations. For me this can't be displayed in the form of a ribbon or a prize this is displayed via my constant frustration at seeing how much the current direction of the competition world is contrary to what all the research and nre knowledge is concluding. There is a better way to do things and this is what I have dedicated my life and passion to. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10156833111292885&id=239209892884

06.01.2022 My first horsey beach trip for the summer! And what a perfect morning for it Sponsored rider Amber took miss Matilda and her trusty Rocket pony for her first beach ride on Matilda! ... I think they both did pretty well especially as it was only Matildas second trip to the beach, her first time being 2 years ago! Even Rocket pony got over her resistance to getting her feet wet to have a good wade in the water. Aleyce it's your turn next Has it been your dream to ride a horse on the beach? Message me today to find out how Ozflick Equine can help make that dream come true!

06.01.2022 If anyone is looking for a ripper of a little jumping pony this little mare is definitely worth a look! We actually looked at her last week and had her as one of our selected ponies to send to our partner club in China however due to current changes in the export certificates and quarantine regulations exporting horses from Australia to China in on hold, this means unfortunately we will need to take our horse hunting to the UK as the Aus-China exporting option will not be available within our time frame. But this does mean that this super little mare is still available to a lucky ambitious local rider! For more details refer to the comments and contact the owner Megan directly.

05.01.2022 Well it's been a busy couple of months and today the return flights for Guilin have been booked, heading back to my "Northern Hemisphere home" fortnight tomorrow! I've been so lucky to have placed nearly all my four legged fur children in awesome caretaking homes however I've got one guy who is still looking for the right human companion to play with. Our beloved Nolo pony is looking for a job, he's had a pretty easy life with good but intermittent education so is needing so...meone who is confident and has lots of time to play with him and teach him lots of new tricks. Being a home bred boy he's been part of the family and feels just as comfortable hanging out with the kids as he does with the herd. Even though he hasn't had a huge amount of work he has been very well exposed having been to pony club, the beach, monarto easter camp, out on trails, the forest and is pretty cruisy in new atmospheres. He's approx 12.2hh and must be around 10 now his father is Welsh B stallion Earlswood Apollo and his mother is Rivington Arrabella so he's a smart fotward little guy bred to be busy and loves a job. Give him half a chance and he'll show you how it's done! He'd ultimately suit a confident rider with horsemanship skills or a lead pony for a knowledgeable family. Only available for long term lease to the best of homes. Good to do pretty much anything with. If he sounds like he might fit your horsey family let me know and we can organise a formal meeting and possible trial period.

04.01.2022 Hello again Ozflick Equine .....friends.in the wake of what has been a global tragedy I'm turning what has been a sad and unforeseen situation into something positive and I'm asking for your help! I've created a Go Fund Me campaign to try and raise some funds to help Golden Saddle survive this unprecedented coronavirus situation. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated and if you are unable to donate all I ask is if you could spare a few minutes to share.... The monies raise will go towards the ongoing running costs that don't just go away while the country is shut down and the club has no form of income. I thank you all in advance for your considerations and please if you have any questions regarding Golden Saddle or how you can help please don't hesitate to ask. Peace and Love to you all Flick https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=649654729182201&id=100024130384279
