24.01.2022 Hats off to Bum Nuts Australia for yet another donation of beautiful Bumnuts! This load of 3,780 little bundles of gold will be heading out the door soon and into the trucks. Hope the agencies we visit have plenty of egg recipes! #supportlocal #community

23.01.2022 With the unprecedented impact of COVID-19, after devastating bushfires, drought and floods, OzHarvest is experiencing an overwhelming need for food relief, at a time when resources are more limited than ever. We need your help. Donating $1 to OzHarvest provides 2 meals to vulnerable communities. If you are able, please give what you can and help us support Aussies in need. https://www.facebook.com/donate/211731283275484/

14.01.2022 Wasting food wastes EVERYTHING including precious water ! Our freshwater is already in short supply, so it’s crazy to think we waste so much of it producing food that never gets eaten! Our supporters Icon Water would love to see YOUR photos that celebrate the value of water in our everyday life. Our resources are precious, let’s value them by not wasting food #wastefreewednesday #fightfoodwaste #foodwastefact #savewater

09.01.2022 Our friends from Protiviti Canberra dropped in today to #CookForACause at #CanberraCollege. 160 meals were prepared, cooked and packed, and then taken to local Canberra charities. Job well done......and great teamwork!

04.01.2022 Our team would like to assure all Canberrans (and our friends in Queanbeyan) that our service continues as always. While food rescue donations are down due to panic buying, we are still doing our best to rescue and deliver as much as we can to our community partners. At the same time, we are proud to be a part of a large scale emergency relief food project being put together in Canberra. This network will source food and essential supplies from major distribution centres arou...nd the country and put together hampers for those in need during this current crisis. http://www.canberrarelief.com.au/ It is very important that everyone understands we are NOT buying or taking any item (food or other items) from any local supermarkets. The essential supplies are being sourced and purchased through a stimulus package by the ACT Government. Our operations have no effect on the public's access to scarce supplies....at all. Please be patient as our team set up for what could be a very anxious time for many. We have always and will always support our community.
