25.01.2022 A very rainy and windy day at the Noosa Farmers Market. But nothing can keep our intrepid volunteers away! Thank you to all the stallholders who donated beautiful fruit and veggies. With the holidays upon us, your donations are gratefully received. #HereForHope

24.01.2022 A huge shout out to our volunteers who have worked tirelessly this difficult year to help those who are food insecure in our community. We could not have done what we did without you and your unwavering commitment. It is bittersweet to say goodbye to one of our dedicated Gympie volunteers Chi-Yu who week after week has been at the coal face making it all happen.

20.01.2022 Christmas hamper packing day for the Sunshine Coast Regional Domestic and Family Violence Service. We had Santa's helper Mia give Stacy and our volunteers a helping hand today. Beautiful hampers filled with the freshest of fruit and veggies, pantry items and toiletries. That is 20 families that we hope will find more joy over the holiday season. This is why we do what we do. #HereForHope

19.01.2022 The QCWA Tewantin Noosa does such great work in our community. Today at the Noosa Farmers Market with their Country Kitchens stall talking about healthy eating. They have been strong supporters of OzHarvest Sunshine Coast for awhile now. We are so grateful for their support in 2020 - with ongoing financial contributions that have helped us purchase food to meet the increase in demand resulting from Covid-19. Hats off to you all!#HereForHope #fightfoodwaste

18.01.2022 A great day yesterday with 26 pre-schoolers at Peregian Beach Community Kindergarten. One of our wonderful Education Outreach Ambassadors Poh Ling speaking about food and food waste - and how we can all be food waste fighters - no matter our age. We would love to share our story and message with your school and your students. Our presentations are for all ages - contact us at [email protected] for more information. Let's all be part of the solution. #fightfoodwaste

17.01.2022 It's a great day today as we have taken ownership of a new van for our food rescue operations! Thank you Scott Seymour from Seymour Toyota and a huge thank you to John Jamieson for your incredible generosity. Can't wait to see the yellow and black logo on the van! Until then, Oh What A Feeling! Okay - someone in this photo has had more practice at 'the jump'.....

16.01.2022 What an incredible result! Almost 400 kg of pantry items donated to OzHarvest Sunshine Coast from the students at Peregian Springs State School today. That is the equivalent of 1,200 meals! It has been a rough year for so many - and this will go such a long way to help feed local community members in need. Yet again, a huge shout out to the school - you are the best.

01.01.2022 What a year it has been - the result of our food rescue efforts in 2020! We could not have done this without the support of our community. Thank you Sunshine Coast.

01.01.2022 As we come to the end of another year, we wish all of you a safe and happy holidays. It has been a tough year but together we have made it just a little easier for those in our community who are food insecure. OzHarvest Sunshine Coast will be closed from today and back on board at the Sunday markets 3 January. We will have capacity to provide emergency relief to our partner agencies if needed between Christmas and New Year's Day.
