22.01.2022 I love using the 1.5cm x 1.5cm x 4mm Mosaic glass tiles available from our beautiful range at OzMosaics. Priced at $4.50 for 100 tiles (200gm) these tiles are p...aper-faced. Soak all the tiles from the paper sheeting in warm water or cut a strip at a time, for easy storage. Beautiful range of colours, cut like butter, smooth on front and back. I am currently designing a mosaic table featuring a cat for a client and am combining the 1.5 x 1.5 cm tiles with other tesserae. 17.01.2022 Curing, awaiting installation in 2 weeks, in Brisbane. Mockup shown on wall, not to scale, but pretty close! Looking forward to viewing the mural when vertical and off my workbench at Studio OzMosaics. It took 3 times longer to fabricate, than usual, due to my Lisfranc foot injury - I could have cancelled the project but it was close to my heart as I quite love the client and residents who will enjoy the mural in a garden courtyard. Never give up! Now to rest my very swol...len and painful foot, but I feel joyous and looking forward to future mosaic projects, even if they take me much more time and effort. Mosaic addiction is real! Its awesome! Thanks to an awesome and patient client. Thanks to my incredible foot surgeon and physio and all my supportive mosaic mates. You kept me going. I love you. I am writing a beautiful review of the project for a new website, showcasing the making of the mural, it was an amazing outpouring of emotions in mosaics by many creative mosaic enthusiasts around the world.
