Who's the murderer ? Get a group, book a 'Go Buggy so you can bring BYO alcohol and not drive https://gobuggy.com.au/book-online ******************************************************** HOW DOES A MURDER MYSTERY Night work ? Here is an outline of what to expect with a Murder Mystery night Everyone will be in the group, everybody gets a character which we send out a week beforehand, so that people have a chance to think of who they are to be if you choose even possibly put a costume together etc. Then on the night each person gets further info from the MC, which gets them interacting with other characters that are there. For example, your character may be blackmailing one character, involved in an affair with another, setting up a drug deal or whatever. These interactions get deeper as the night progresses and lead to motives for murder. A murder does eventually happen and the rest of the evening is trying to find out whodunnit. The game is very interactive and highly flexible, in that there is no pre-set victim, no pre-set murderer. In fact, not even the MC knows who the murderer is to be until the night. Come and have some fun and a nice big community dinner with us Coffs Connection & Community Boambee East Community Centre https://www.facebook.com/events/1837916963171846/
23.01.2022 There's a smuggling ring operating in Coffs Harbour. They're using Dark Arts Brew & Bar as a base next Friday 17 August in a Murder Mystery. Make sure of your character now by booking for this Dinner and Murder Mystery at Dark Arts Brew and Bar (Cox Lane) or phone 6600 1505. Are you a smuggler, or are you out to catch the smugglers? Could smuggling be a motive for murder? Bookings are essential.

22.01.2022 Here's the second scenario: SHIPWRECK The shipwreck is a well known scenario for thrillers and mysteries. It provides another isolated setting for a set of traumatised characters to salvage their dignity and plan for survival in spite of all sorts of temptations, like treasure, fleecing their partner or having a quick affair with a stranger! Things get out of hand pretty early on... Apparently there is a vote going to be taken sometime in the evening, and the characters are canvassing their right to row to safety and to (of course!) bring back help. But why do some want to stay on the island and others seem ready to kill in order to leave...?
22.01.2022 Oz Murder Mystery now has a website up and running. Check it out at: www.ozmurdermystery.com

12.01.2022 And an Australian based scenario: CUT OFF IN KAKADU The dressing up is casual and easy to assemble. A truly "Australian" plot; the setting is one of the most famous tourist spots and provides a meeting place for locals and tourists in enforced isolation. The "local" fishermen, tour operators, friendly bar staff and government officials mix and mingle with the "strangers" bush walkers from Germany and New Zealand, honeymooners from Japan and retired travellers from America. Now, who is the mysterious person whose passport is washed up in Yellow Water Billabong...?

Here is the first: THE CURSE OF THE AMULET An Agatha Christie take-off. The ancient Egyptian amulet that is Lady Ethel's present from Sir Harold will be on display. We hope you are not superstitious. Legend has it that the amulet is cursed. Set in a manor, over an exquisite anniversary meal, it is the most formal and elegant of the murder plots. 05.01.2022 Another fabulous night of mayhem and murder at Dark Arts Brew & Bar last week. The next Murder Mystery is already planned for May. The scenario this time is loosely based on the movie "Braveheart." The Scottish patriots and the English king are beating out a truce. In attendance are the royal courts of France and Norway. Lords, ladies, knights in close proximity with peasants, wandering friars, jesters, and a few Irish mercenaries to spice things up. Plenty of opportunity for treachery, back-stabbing, blackmail, and .... murder. Look out for it.
