19.01.2022 Visa applicants will have more choice in English language testing with the addition of more test options for temporary graduate, skilled, work and holiday, and former resident visas, Assistant Minister for Immigration and Border Protection, Senator the Hon Senator Michaelia Cash, said today. The changes, which come into effect in November, are in line with the department's focus on increasing competition in the English language testing market for visas. 16.01.2022 2020-21 Migration Program Planning Levels

16.01.2022 NSW is pleased to announce that the October 2014 intake for the 190 program will open on 22nd of October at 10:00, Australian Eastern Standard time (UTC+10). NSW has modified the occupations eligible for 190 nomination for the October 2014 intake. This is to ensure that the Skilled Nominated program is a balanced intake of skilled migrants in a range of occupational groups that will meet NSW medium and long term skills needs. Applicants qualified in occupations not on the NSW SOL October 2014 will not be able to apply for NSW nomination on the October 2014 application intake. Most of the Accountants and ICT occupations have been suspended for the October 2014 intake.

15.01.2022 From 23 November 2014 the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (Australia) will accept test scores from two additional tests to IELTS across the Temporary Graduate, Skilled, Former Resident and Work and Holiday programmes. The department will also accept scores from the Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) test undertaken from 1 January 2015.
