22.01.2022 Join us in celebrating a very significant milestone in amateur astronomy. On this day, Wednesday October 18, 2017 at approximately 2:30am at the OzSky Star Safari, Steve Gottlieb achieved the pinnacle of a 39-year-long project to visually observe and record all 7,840 objects in the NGC (New General Catalog of Nebulae and Clusters of Stars) after 10 trips to the Southern Skies and countless observing sessions in the northern hemisphere. Congratulations, Steve!
