23.01.2022 Hi guys! I have come to the hard realisation that I will not be performing a live gig for the rest of 2020. I have missed all the singing, all the performing... and just being on stage in general. So on that note, I am happy to announce that I would like for you all to join me this coming Saturday 5th September, 2020 at 8:00pm AEST on this Facebook Page, for a live performance. Will I sing some Elvis tunes? Will I sing some Rock n Roll classics? Will I sing some 80s tunes? I dont know... lets see what the night brings! I have not done a live feed for a very long time, but I know thats what every performer has had to do in these very unique and strange COVID times. I feel the time is right for me to do something, as its been a while and I have missed it all. I know its real tough right now, but I want you to forget about these times just for a bit and hopefully I can make you feel a bit better. I am excited to sing again for you all, so all going well (as technology can sometimes be a burden and a joy to us all ) join me this coming Saturday evening! 22.01.2022 The next 6 weeks are going to be the killer. 100 people in the first lockdown committed suicide in the first week alone. That was only in Victoria too. The mental health issues related to lockdown and the pandemic are especially hard for people with depression. 07.01.2022 Dear River Festival Supporters, We have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Adani Rockhampton River Festival due to COVID-19 restrictions and the impact this will have on delivering the event. The River Festival team is now working on plans for the 2021 event to be held 9-11 July pending post COVID-19 restrictions. This event will be a community celebration of resilience and creativity showing support for the food, beverage and performing arts industries. ... We recognise the importance of Rockhampton River Festival to the local economy, community and most of all our valued supporters and understand how disappointing this cancellation is.
