Expect to see more of these cameras by Department of Transport Marine Safety WA around the river as boaties continue to ignore the speed limits in place. The speed limit for this part of the Swan River is 5 knots with fines ranging from $100 to $200. 06.01.2022 Upcoming Temporary closure - Eastern ramps at Woodman Point Boat launching capacity will be halved at Woodman Point from 22 February until the end of March... 2021 so that major maintenance works can take place. The four eastern boat ramps will be closed while the western ramps will stay open. Delays are expected during this time, with skippers urged to use other boat ramps from 22 February to 1 April. Visit dotwagov.com/boat-ramps for other boat ramp locations. The maintenance needs to take place during this period due to the low tides and timing the work between the peak holiday season and Easter will minimise disruption.
