12.01.2022 Amarok V6 proving very capable with all size loads ! Effortlessly pulls all loads, doesn’t even drop out of eight gear, once in , 870 kms North out of Kalgoorlie up through Meekatharra! At speed limit , returned 14.7 lts/100 ave! We have had larger loads, (1.9 tonne on trailer plus 400 kgs in rear) ) with less head wind and it has returned 14.2 lts/100 ! Awesome effort from this combo !... Returning empty at about... 11.2 lts/100 or so ! We have also just done a trip to Perth, and it did drop to seventh gear two or three times in the hills , with approx 650 kgs on the trailer ! See more
