23.01.2022 Don't forget to leave your comments on what you want from the website everyone. Once its completed I am expecting many people will be taking advantage of the service, so I would really like it to be as perfect and easy to use for both sellers and buyers as can possibly be.

17.01.2022 Welcome everyone, this is the beginning of our new business "Ozzy4Ozzies", there is a lot to do so for now our pic is of Cooper, our boxer X at 7 weeks old aaaah! Our aim here at "Ozzy4Ozzies" is to have a website that any Australians can use to sell their wares -as long as they are made here in Australia, by Australians using as many Australians ingredients/parts possible. This will take a little trial & error so please bear with us until the website is up & running.... We are registered as an Australian business, our domain name company is 'Netregistry' which is owned by 'Melbourne I.T.' an Australian company. Our Web page designers are Presys, yes, you guessed it, fully owned and operated by Australians :) please feel free to share this page with ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE and please leave any comments, suggestions etc., please keep it clean, thank you.

16.01.2022 Well everyone, it’s here! The store you have all been waiting for, Ozzy4Ozzies is now open for business. If you make things, sell them here.... If you buy things, buy them here, especially if you want homemade Australian merchandise. We listened to what you wanted and have hopefully delivered. Now obviously, the site won’t be full yet, it just opened, sheesh! But, just wait and see, pop in there and have a look, leave a comment on our page, feedback, suggestions whatever, being as nice as you have been during our journey to this point. Oh! Don’t forget, if you know someone who wants to sell the stuff they make here in Australia, from Australian materials, then tell them about us; the shop won’t be full until we get the sellers selling www.ozzy4ozzies.com.au

14.01.2022 Hi all, I've been asked a few times lately why I bothered starting this service so, the following answers that: There are many online services offering free/low cost websites, these charge a commission or fixed fee. From what I've researched they do provide what they are advertising, which is good. My research has also shown that a lot of theses sites are basically resellers/dropshippers etc. which, once again is good, if that's what you want. From my viewpoint, if you use th...ese sites (ressellers/dropshippers) you are not really sure where the products are sourced from, the quality and who you are actually supporting. Because these sellers now have a website, they need to promote it, this can cost a lot in time or money. Also due to the sheer volume of these sites globally, you are not really sure if you will even be 'found'! I was going to follow the same path and sell my 'stuff' in the same way but, for the reasons above I decided that I wanted more control over who sees my 'stuff', hence Ozzy4Ozzies. Building this service (quite expensive and time consuming granted) gives me and other Ozzies the opportunity to sell and promote their 'stuff', keeping everything in this wonderful country, building a community of like-minded people which really benefits us all. We, the group, are basically the advertisers of the site thereby vastly reducing advertising/promotion costs. The vendors have control over their products, they can build relationships with their buyers and other vendors (all subject to our terms & conditions of course) So, in a nutshell, I have control over what I can do with my 'stuff' while also offering the same choice to my fellow Ozzies, Win-Win in my book :) See more

13.01.2022 Bear with us guys, hitting a few hurdles that we weren't expecting :( Webpage will be working as soon as we can. Who would have thought that two people from the same provider would tell you completely opposite things? We were ready to sign up and pay until I called them on a separate topic to find that out? They did say sorry though :( I was sulking for a while on that one BUT we will get there, thanks for your patience.

10.01.2022 Hi everyone, we are competing with a lot of overseas competition here (the ones that provide individual sites for the same type of vendors we are trying to attract) Any suggestions to further promote this would also be appreciated along with any comments (positive or negative, they both help) on your experience visiting our site.

05.01.2022 Well well well, I'm sooo excited, our website (I've been told) should be up and running very soon, days even :) We have taken on board ALL your feedback -thank you very much- and the site will be just as you asked. By very popular demand we will be using Paypal and encouraging all vendors to do the same, your responses were very definite about this. Unfortunately paypal isn't Australian but, you never know, a new AUSTRALIAN company might emerge as a serious competitor :)... So, keep an eye out, tell your friends, tell your family, tell your neighbours and theirs WE WILL BE HERE VERY SOON

01.01.2022 Still jumping hurdles guys, don't worry though, we will let you know as soon as we are able to when we can launch. The main issue is trying to find the best payment platform and how to do it. Paypal seems to be the 1st choice of many but I really want to have an Australian one -that's what this is all about innit? Australia Post have one but it seems everyone I speak to wants paypal, may have to go with them I think.

01.01.2022 It's only been a week since we went live and already we have 6 vendors, keep coming guys, we have loads of space :) I don't know if it's just me but I'm not that keen on the layout, search options etc. So, I've invested even more money (just for you lot) and upgraded the site to include a lot more, stay tuned to stay up to date with the changes, all exciting (for me anyway) and it should be much more user friendly and attractive. Just ask Matt, our I.T. tech from Academy IT, here in Adelaide, 'cos he's the one doing the upgrades.:P As always, please feel free to leave your feedback, it's always good; if it's bad it isn't actually bad, it helps us move forward and continuously improve (I shed my tears in private if I'm too upset so don't worry about me.)
