24.01.2022 A word from our Director, Penny 2020 - it didnt start quite the way anyone imagined, now did it? Yet here we all are navigating our way out of a truly shocking pandemic, wondering what our new normal will be. At least now there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel, which is fantastic. I am really proud to say that the entire P3 Events Team has been retained nationally. The future may still look a little uncertain, especially for those of us in the events industry an...d our clients who work within the event space, but we are heartened with the restrictions around small gatherings being eased and are now hopeful of a slow, steady and careful return to events. We are particularly looking forward to returning from our home offices to our "office" offices to get busy on some "plan now - play later" events for everyone. Beginning with smaller events, such as SOD turnings, VIP cocktail or craft beer-tasting evenings, outdoor long lunches for up to 20 and display village activations will see the event industry, especially property developers, dip their toes back in the water. Not only will this help our clients re-connect with their staff and communities, it will assist all our suppliers, and the economy, to get Australia back up and running. At P3 "Safety First" has always been our motto, and is absolutely the way we approach any event. Moving forward with events post COVID-19 will not be any different. Hand wash stations, hand sanitizer and social distancing signage will all be standard elements of our events for as long as needed. To focus on our positivity, P3 rebranded for the month of April - changing from "Plan, Produce, Perform" to become "Positive, Proactive and Passionate". This was so important to me as I deeply believe that projecting positivity and stoicism trumped crying in my soup. I am grateful to you, our community, and look forward to forging ahead with you.

While a lot of our major Clients event plans needed to cancel or change around mass gatherings restrictions, we are heartened by the prospect of smaller gatherings being allowed in a few months. Weve been so inspired by the businesses around the world and at home in Australia that have pivoted to produce essential medical supplies. What a wonderful world. #Repost @lego This week we began to make visors at our factory in Billund for healthcare workers on the frontline in Denmark. We are so incredibly proud of the team who made this happen. They worked around the clock to create designs and make moulds that can produce more than 13,000 visors a day. We are grateful to have such talented, dedicated and caring colleagues.

Add another layer to that expertise and you’ve got someone who ...could run a small- or large-scale event in a COVID-safe way, standing on her head. When the world turned upside down with the onset of COVID, unfortunately Penny’s world did the same. She’d had a finger in many of the largest events going (and then cancelled) in QLD.
