23.01.2022 The Great Ocean Road is one of Australias most popular tourist attractions and one that many small towns along Australias southeast coast rely on. At the time Great Ocean Road Regional Tourism approached Pace however, the road had become a victim of its own popularity. Increased traffic and a lack of funding had left the road with serious degradation and vulnerable to potentially deadly collapses. Pace took the challenge head on, creating the OMGreatOceanRoad campaign to raise public awareness for the state of the road and to lobby for desperately needed funding. With a limited budget, Pace was able to break through the clutter and create something that brought about genuine social movement. The result? A State government commitment to $50 million in funding for one of our nations greatest attractions.

Pace has been responsible for the production of a multitude of OVGs over the years including Geelong & the Bellarine, The Great Ocean Road, Wangaratta, Gippsland and even Broken Hill and the Outback! With each project we learn more about the ever-changing needs and habits of tourists and have develope...d a multi-year strategy to transition our clients from a print only model to one that incorporates both digital and traditional media. Digital media undoubtedly reigns supreme in our current day and age, but unlike some, we recognize the weight that traditional still carries. Our OVG projects now feature not just a physical guide but a full mobile app version for iOS and Android, allowing travellers to access all the valuable information a town or region has to offer in whichever way suits them best.

07.01.2022 Where does the peak body of the thriving San Francisco retail district go for its digital and promotional needs? Geelong of course. San Francisco retailers had a problem. Despite being one of the busiest retail districts in the world, it wasnt converting to sales. Millions of tourists had begun to push many of the locals to the outer suburbs to shop. We knew we were up to the challenge. Within 90 days we had planned and launched the November 2 Remember campaign encouraging support for local businesses. A sweepstakes was run for those who visited a participating business during the month of November, offering incredible prizes donated by retailers. Suddenly locals were back in CBD stores and engagement was off the charts. Stores reported record sales and remarketing was now a breeze with the app.
