06.01.2022 Team Paceks competing in the Shinwa-Kai karate championships Wagga Wagga. 12 medals between these lovely kids.

05.01.2022 Elyse Wood, Brittany Tanner and Adrian Furina (pictured with Australian flag, left to right). THREE students from Pacek's Shotokan Karate Academy won 11 medals, including five gold, at major international events in Las Vegas. Elyse Wood, Brittany Tanner and Adrian Furina (pictured above, left to right) also walked away with the prestigious World Cup title in the 14 years and under advanced team kata event.... Adrian won gold in the male 10-12 years kata event and silver in kumite at the Junior International Karate Championships, silver in kata at the US Open and gold in the individual kata at the Ozawa International Championships. Elyse won silver in the 10-12 years female intermediate kata event at the Junior International Championships and bronze at the US Open. Brittany put in a great effort in the 10-12 years female advanced black belt divisions in which she won bronze in her kata and kumite events. The trio won gold in the team kata event at Ozawa International Championships. "The standard was extremely high," coach Ivan Pacek said. "The number of rounds they had to endure was gruelling on their bodies and the long hours exhausting for the mind ensuring that Brittany, Adrian and Elyse worked very hard for their medals."
