25.01.2022 Hi all, PACE Motorsport is looking for a complete Busa engine for an upcoming motorsport build. Gen 1 preferred, but Gen 2 is also ok. Good condition is preferred but damaged might be ok, depending on extent of damage. If anyone has a spare engine sitting in the corner or know of someone who does, please get in contact with us.... Perth based location prefered. See more

24.01.2022 Using our Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers ProHub / Chain drive dyno as a diagnostic tool. A customer brought us his race bike with a complaint of the quick shifter "double cutting" on random gear changes. We used the dyno to simulate a complete drag pass with 4 gear changes, the log clearly shows the difference between the fault occuring & after it was rectified. Mainline ProHub dyno FTW! ... See the dyno log below See more

23.01.2022 It's the little things that are so satisfying about using quality components & what you can achieve with them... Racefit exhausts is definitely 1 of these, The throttle blip / lift off flames that we were able to tune into this GSXR when retuning with Woolich Racing software is a great little addition that everyone enjoys.

23.01.2022 Chriss immaculate 2011 CBR1000rr "Stoner" Repsol edition was in for a Retune, Quick shifter & adjustable rear set upgrade recently. Thanks again to JW Moto Parts for the awesome Lightech Racing adjustable rear sets & TriboDyn Lubricants Australia engine oil. We performed a complete OEM Ecu remap & enabled the quick shifter operation using the Woolich Racing WRT software including "Race tools" functionality (quick shifter & launch control) This gives us control of not only fu...el & ignition mapping, but more importantly on these Hondas we have the ability to remap the secondary fuel injector balance maps. The larger gains in the higher RPM is attributed mostly to the upper injector phasing mods. The combined adjustment of fuel, ignition, injector balance & the removal of all factory restrictions gives an awesome result. Result, 168.5Hp & 79Ftlb See more

23.01.2022 Justins CBR 929 NOS drag bike @ last nights race meeting, Its always great watching Justin tune this little animal..

22.01.2022 PACE Motorsport was recently entrusted by 1 of our local racers to improve the performance of his dream street bike. Chriss 2017 GSXR1000 is just that, Suzuki really got it right with this 2017 model... Our suggested upgrades to this already awesome machine included, - PACE Motorspot custom built 60mm exhaust mid section, retaining the OEM headers. - Sprint Filter air filter element.... - Venturisystem - Aspirazioni Racing - billet velocity stacks. - Woolich Racing PACE Motorsport custom ECU remap. The custom 60mm exhaust mid section was fabricated & the Sprint Air filter was installed before going to the dyno, the VenturiSystems velocity stacks were installed after performing a base line dyno pull set. Results to follow shortly See more

22.01.2022 Another long term build completed! Troy's Turbocharged 2005 Yamaha R1 engine is now run in & fully tuned. The electronic's package controlling this beast is a Link ECU "Vipec V44" ECU, which is implementing our boost by gear/rpm & throttle strategies, which allow us to give Troy either a full amount of boost per gear or a graduated boost curve in every gear. Result at high boost, 280Hp & 132Ftlb @ 130kpa / 19psi... Other graphs are of varying power levels in various gears. See more

21.01.2022 Over the past 10 years PACE Motorsport has tuned many Engine management systems on a broad variety of vehicles & in recent times have developed our tuning packages with LINK Engine management systems & have also become a LINK Dealer. LINK recently contacted us & asked if it was ok for them to do a feature article on our business... Sure thing. Here is what they put together. https://www.linkecu.com//pace-motorsport-tuning-motorcycl/... Thanks again Link ECU. More awesome vehicles to come with this great product!

20.01.2022 PACE Motorsport is taking applications for a suitably qualified technician to fill a full / part time "flexible" position in our Motorcycle & Automotive performance workshop. Specialised skills in the light vehicle performance industry, fabrication & welding, machining, electronics, engine management / building / blueprinting & Dyno tuning would be beneficial to the applicant, but if you are trade qualified, eager, willing and ready to learn tech & new skills, we would like ...to hear from you. Please forward your expressions of interest & resume's to [email protected] We will compile all applications during February & contact suitable applicants for further interviews shortly there after. 20.01.2022 Not every day on the dyno goes as planned... One thing is certain though, the dyno will find every problem or issue with any vehicle! Today we were retuning a customers "Full Chassis" N20 Dragbike for a new fuel combination VP Racing Fuels QM23. After performing several dyno runs to optimise the N/A fuel mixtures & setting up a base timing curve, a final confirmation dyno pull was performed to give a baseline for the N2O setup. Right at the end of that pull, the power/ torq...ue dropped slightly from previous runs. The Lambda trace went just a little leaner @ that point & Cyl# 2 EGT got a little hotter as well, but not dangerously. All spark plugs were inspected as a precaution, but no issues were found. #2 carb fuel supply/bowl/needle & seat & jetting was checked for obstruction, also no faults found. Engine was started & another test pull was performed, but instantly aborted because engine was instantly leaner than previous & down about 25% on power, but idle & part throttle response was perfect.... Hmmmm We thought it was best to completely remove #2 carby for further inspection. THIS IS NOT WHAT WE INTENDED TO FIND ! Only up side to this is that we caught it before any major damage occurred & the engine is internally . Unfortunately it still will require a complete Cyl head revisit as the Devcon used to raise the port floor will not stay attached to the any more! See more

20.01.2022 Testing the "closed throttle overrun" mapping on a recent CBR1000rr dyno tune... Should make for some interesting night rides!

20.01.2022 Here is a Yamaha MT-10 fitted with a Racefit Growler X-GP, the owner loves the look but just wanted to drop the DB's a little for his regular commute. The awesome note is still kept, just the bark is dampened. See the design below

19.01.2022 Its been a while between post updates in these crazy times of self isolation & localised lockdowns, rest assured PACE Motorsport is taking due care as required but still getting on with some of our bigger projects. The reassembly process has begun with Daniels Turbocharged B-king. Every single component has returned from being "Satin black" Ceramic coated by the guys @ Competition and Industrial Coatings. This coating was chosen not only for its performance benefits & radian...t heat transfer control but also for its corrosion resistance & asthetic quality. It will create a completely stealthy weapon... However, with even the nuts & bolts blacked out it was making it very challenging to assemble & even harder to take detailed pics. The Big CC Racing WTA intercooled turbo system is really starting to take shape nicely. See more

19.01.2022 Helping Terry achieve another PB for his E85 fuel setup at last nights race meeting. 8.12, still only using 25% NOS duty cycle.

18.01.2022 Daniels B-King engine is now prepared & ready for its "forced induction" duties. After a close inspection of all OEM internal components, we crack tested, balanced & blue printed the rotating assembly, including the OEM Gen2 Crankshaft, Gen1 Wossner Pistons & Con rods. We had the transmission undercut by FME, then sent all the trans components & the Wossner pistons to Competition and Industrial Coatings for Isotropic polishing & Ceramic Coating. The machining, installation,... port work & blue printing of the cyl head to suite the Ape Raceparts +1mm IN & EX valves & 65lb valve springs & TI retainers was performed for us by HeadTorque cyl heads. The final assembly includes Ape Raceparts Main studs, Cyl studs, Output shaft stud, Billet shift shafts, Billet shift forks, Balance shaft delete, HD ourput shaft & 2nd gear, Single row timing chain, Adjustable cam gears, Mechanical cam chain tensioner, 65lb valve springs, TI retainers, HV oil pump gear & PACE Motorsport oil gallery & Timing chain guide mods. Finishing off this "blacked out" B-King engine is a Big CC Racing mechanical turbo oil scavenge pump & Quick access clutch cover which again has been ceramic coated. Looking forward to getting this power plant reinstalled & the Big CC Racing WTA turbo system fitted up.... Stay tuned for up coming progress. See more

18.01.2022 I little something we have been working on for some time for the Yamaha engines... High volume oil pump gear & custom length drive chain. This setup is designed to increase the speed of the oil pump by 6.6%, Which will equate to increased low to mid range RPM oil pressure. Max pressure is still governed by the relief valve setting, which can also be adjusted with shims.... Currently to suit 2004-08 YZF-R1 engines. OEM gear on the right.

18.01.2022 After completing the PULP fuel tune for Daniel's B-king, we filled the tank with E85 & started the retune process. Unfortunately the previously encountered boost creep came back with vengeance. This time the boost creep was 9psi above 9.5k rpm @ the lowest power level of 5psi, which was no longer safe or manageable. Because the existing turbine housing & wastegate had already need ported as much as possible, the only solution was to enlarge the W/G size. This size upgrade un...fortunately meant a complete turbine housing / wastegate / dump pipe Re-fab. Even though we tried several different turbine housing options, we still ended up having to cut up the existing housing because the existing turbo system components are so tightly tucked in to the engine that none of the 3 options would fit. As heartbreaking as it was to cut up the existing turbine housing & all the exhaust components we fabricated & ceramic coated last year, it was required for the engines controllable power delivery when running on E85. So we set to work mating an Turbosmart 45mm Hypergate to the existing turbine housing & Refab both the turbo dump pipe & screamer pipe setups. This would definitely be the most challenging fab work we have done to date, it's always so much harder to Re-fab than start from scratch. All challenges aside, we are very happy with the end result & can't wait to receive the components back from Competition and Industrial Coatings in there final form. Stay tuned for the next trip back into out dyno cell for the E85 tuneup. See more

15.01.2022 The first Yamaha MT09 on the dyno today @ PACE Motorsport. This immaculate 2018 MT09 SP came to us with the Akrapovic Exhaust System & TriboDyn Lubricants Australia oil already installed & in the engine. All we had to do was line up the 1's & 0's inside the OEM Ecu using our Woolich Racing software. Even though the bike only produces lower power levels, there are still noticeable gains to be had across the entire RPM range. Result 115hp & 61ftlb... See more

15.01.2022 The next engine to come out of the PACE Motorsport engine room is for Chriss 2011 GSXR1000 Nitrous bike. After modifying the oil galleries in both the crankshaft & crankcases to provide an evnly balanced Mains-Bigend oil supply path & oil cooler delete, we again balanced & blue printed the complete rotating assembly which included OEM crank, Wossner custom pistons & CP-Carrillo connecting rods. The pistons also received ceramic coating from Competition and Industrial Coating...s. As there is currently no Crankcase Main stud kit available, new OEM Main bolts were used but the assorted OEM M8 crankcase bolts which in this generation GSXR engine appear to be made of plastic were upgraded with high tensile cap screws & washers. Additional to the DME Racing billet oil pan & swinging pickup, we have added our own design oil baffle plate to prevent any chance of oil surge @ launch. The OEM cyl head has had the Titainium valves & valve springs replaced with Vance & Hines S/S valves & Carpenter Racing valve springs. The ports are OEM, but the combustion chamber has been reshaped & debured to suit its Nitrous use. The head is secured with Ape Raceparts Cyl head studs to keep the Nitrous - increased cylinder pressures in check. A Hays Machine Works / Fast Track T3 convertible clutch is hiding behind the awesome Extreme Creations machined billet quick access clutch cover. Stay tuned for this engine & bike being setup & tuned for a new choice of unleaded race fuel in the near future.. See more

13.01.2022 PACE Motorsports first ever Ducati dyno tune! We recently performed a complete OEM Ecu remap on this immaculate 2013 Ducati 1199 Panigale S. Using our Rexxer / Alientech remapping software we were able to optimize the engines fueling, ignition, ETV maps for each cylinder in both "Road" & "Race" Ecu modes. The engine not only make more power & torque, but is significantly smoother at cruising / light throttle opening. This bike has a Termignoni slip on & Sprint Air filter & T...ribodyn engine oil. Before - 167 Hp & 91 ftlb, After - 184 Hp & 100 ftlb. A true 10% Hp & torque increase in tuning alone...

12.01.2022 Jasons 2016 GSXR1000 K&N air filter, OEM K9 Titanium exhaust header, Racefit Growler Titanium muffler & link pipe, Woolich Racing WRT remapped OEM ecu.... Result 168.6 Hp & 77 ftlb (Comparison is before/after tune - all hardware already fitted)

12.01.2022 Another super clean 2011 Honda CBR1000rr coming out of the PACE Motorsport dyno room. With a Racefit slip-on & Sprint Filter installed & TriboDyn Lubricants Australia oil in the engine, All that we needed to do after checking the tappet clearances was to tweek the OEM ecus mapping with Woolich Racing tuning software to make everything work together seamlessly. Result - 167Hp & 77Ftlb With some mad decel flames tuned in for some added fun

11.01.2022 We have recently begun offering these custom fabricated muffler baffles / DB killer's for the current trend of GP style mufflers currently offered from several exhaust manufacturer's such as, Racefit SC-Project Akrapovic. The first unit was fabricated & installed in an Akra full Ti system fitted to a BMW S1000r, that vehicle had been tuned by us before the install & was rechecked after the fittment. We thought that the performance test would show a minor loss in high RPM hp & torque but to our amazement the bike recorded measurable gains not only at low to mid RPM, but also right thru the upper RPM level. Please get in contact with us if you enjoy the visual aspect of your GP style muffler, but would like to take a little of the bark out of the note. Thanks to Geoff @ Garland Custom Fabrication for his expertise

11.01.2022 A few progress pics of Daniels B-king Big CC Racing turbo system build... 625cc injectors matched with an SAE Outlaw performance billet fuel rail will supply more than enough E85 to cover 500+Hp. Next on the list, LINK engine management install & wiring harness fabrication.

10.01.2022 As promised, we recently tuned our first 2017+ GSXR1000 & what an awesome result was achieved! Chriss immaculate machine was first treated to the following items before heading into the dyno room. PACE Motorsport custom exhaust mid section & Sprint Filter air filter element.... Once connected to our Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers ProHub 2000 "Chain drive" dyno, we performed a series of baseline dyno pulls. Then we installed the Venturisystem - Aspirazioni Racing - billet intake velocity stacks. Another series of dyno pulls were performed, comparing the gains from velocity stacks alone. This resulted in 5hp gain, not only at max RPM, but gradually increasing from 6K to the 14+K RPM limiter. Then we set about remapping the OEM Ecu with Woolich Racing WRT tuning software. To fully unleash the potential of this awesome machine & to maximise the results of the mechanical upgrades, we optimised not only the Fuel & Ignition mapping, but also the Injector balance & ETV (electronic throttle valve) maps & derestricted the power delivery in the lower gears & removed all factory limiters. The result was nothing short of amazing... Baseline, (Air filter & custom exhaust mid section fitted) 184hp & 80ftlb Velocity stacks installed, 189hp & 81ftlb Custom ECU remap 199.6hp & 84ftlb A genuine 200hp street bike! With the most linear power delivery we have seen to date.... Suzuki

10.01.2022 PACE Motorsport was out at the track supporting Terry with his NOS drag bike that we tuned for him recently. This was his first NOS assisted pass, It is very apparent that the NOS system was making some good power (even at a low % setting) because you can hear the bike running out of gears before the end of the track, which has never happened before! Baby steps

10.01.2022 Some awesome boosted tuning taking place over the past few days... Daniel's Turbocharged B-king being tuned on PULP 98oct. The Link ECU "Fury" really coming into its own controlling this bikes 8 injector fuel system &TPS/RPM & Gear based boost control. Next we will be enabling the E85 flex fuel strategy & remapping for our goal of 500hp... ... (Video is in selfie mode - screen is mirrored)

10.01.2022 CNC porn being finalised for all the Busa owners... Better start saving the

09.01.2022 We recently had the pleasure of SVCing & Dyno tuning Davids immaculate 2017 CBR1000 SP2. Nothing but the best was used, Including TriboDyn Lubricants Australia engine oil, Sprint Filter air filter, Which were both sourced from Jason @ JW Moto Parts. We then wove our magic with the engine management system mapping on the dyno with Woolich Racing WRT tuning software.... A complete ECU remap included Fuel, Ignition & ETV remap for power levels 1-3... & all factory restrictions removed where necessary. The result was amazing, not to say that this Honda SP2 was anything but awesome to start with.... We just perfected it to the owners likings & squeezed another 5% more Hp & Ftlbs from it, even with the OEM exhaust header & Cat converter still fitted. Comparison is before & after tuning alone. Result 175.3Hp & 76Ftlb After the SVC & tune, we arranged to deliver the bike to Shane @ Addicted 2 Detail to give it the finish touch & keep it looking better than new.. See more

08.01.2022 PACE Motorsport would like to let all our Australian followers know that earlier this year we became an Australian DME Racing dealer & are able to supply all of the awesome DME product range to Australian customers. Here we have the DME "Pro-Step" Sidewinder exhaust header on a customers ZX14r. This header is most comonly used in Nitrous drag racing applications, but we are using it in a Land speed setup because of this engines 1650cc displacement. The quality of the fabrication in this DME header is second to none!

08.01.2022 Another awesome DME Racing component making Its way onto a PACE Motorsport customers land speed bike build we are undertaking. This 4GPM (900Lph) mechanical fuel pump is for a Busa engine which is easily able to supply 600-800 Hp of Methanol. Any electronic fuel pump of this flow rate is aprox 5 times larger in size & weight and would draw up to 25amps. Taking its drive from the OEM water pump location, it not only is far more compact, less weight but also dramatically saves on electrical charging system demand.

08.01.2022 The next "European" brand to be supported by PACE Motorsport for OEM ecu tuning. Ducati . This beautiful Italian steed will first receive a SVC, utilizing nothing but the best products, supplied by JW Moto Parts. The Tribodyn engine oil & Sprint Air filter will be the baseline to our performance tune-up, then it will be onto the dyno for a complete OEM Ecu remap using our "master" Rexer / Alientech hardware & software.... Dyno results to follow ASAP. See more

07.01.2022 Chriss L1 NOS assisted GSXR coming together nicely... Another local Racer looking forward to the end of COVID19 lockdown & the upcoming 2020 race season!

06.01.2022 They say a change is almost as good as a holiday... Something a little different in the PACE Motorsport dyno room recently. We re-acquired this roller dyno frame from a previous workplace to allow us to be able to tune "belt drive" & "single sided swingarm" motorcycles. Our Mainline ProHub dyno is not yet calibrated for the inertia losses of the additional roller dyno frame, but gains & losses are still very clear.... This 2017 Indian Scout was brought in with aftermarket pipes & required tuning. We performed the tune by remapping the OEM ecu, which allowed us to alter Fuel, Ignition, ETV & torque limit maps for a excellent result.

06.01.2022 PACE Motorsport assisting 1 of our customers tame down his ZX14R turbo & get a handle on the bikes launch & first gear behaviour. We recently replaced the W/G spring to a 3psi item & changed the AMS1000 boost control over to CO2 pressure control. This allowed us to dramaticslly smooth out the power delivery on launch for the rider to get settled on the bike before adding power further down the track. Small steps...

05.01.2022 1 of the last pieces of the puzzle has been completed & arrived for Daniels B-king turbo build. This absolutely amazing piece of engineering was created for us by Ben Shaw @ Extreme Creations. We asked him if he could fabricate a tank base that would locate the highest flowing E85 intank fuel pump currently available. Not only was he able create a Billet tank base that would locate the larger dimension Walbro 460 intank fuel pump inside the OEM fuel tank, but he also inclu...ded the FPR in the design. This pump housing can be configured as either "returned or dead head" fuel system just by removing or installing an internal NPT plug. It includes an OEM fitment fuel level thermostat, custom made E85 submersible electrical "pass thru" connectors, E85 intank fuel hose & pump pre filter & comes hard anodized to prevent issues with alcohol fuels. This intank pump setup will supply enough PULP for 775hp or E85 for 550hp... Perfect for our intended power levels Thanks again Ben

04.01.2022 PACE Motorsport is able to supply this style of in-tank fuel pump & pressure regulator for not only the B-king, but Busas & GSXRs also. Please contact us directly thru our FB page msg with any inquiries.

04.01.2022 The next motorcycle platform soon to be able to be tuned thru the OEM ecu @ PACE Motorsport. BMW Motorad! S1000r, S1000rr, HP4,... And more.... See more

03.01.2022 After many hours of studying the OEM wiring diagram & ECU pinouts, then repurposing all the circuits for the new Link ECU functionality, we sourced the OEM "Ecu side" wiring harness connectors & set out to build a "patch loom" to suit the LINK Fury ECU being fitted to this turbocharged Suzuki B-king. This build will be utilising many of the LINK Ecus motorsport capabilities such as, E85 flex fuel tuning, Load cell quick shifter, Gear / Speed based boost control,... Traction control & Rolling launch control. The cockpit display has also been upgraded to an AIM MXS Strada dash, which will be custom configured with multiple selectable screens able to display everything the engine management system is connected to, or what ever the rider wishes to have displayed. The "patch loom" will be tested & once all the circuit functions have been confirmed, the OEM Ecu connectors will be sealed with resin / potting compound. See more

02.01.2022 We recently had Shane @ Addicted 2 Detail perform a full detail & ceramic surface treatments to Grant s awesome turbocharged R1. Shane did such an amazing job on not only the fairings, but also the BST carbon wheels, Chassis/Frame, head & tail light lenses & exhaust pipes & mufflers. The before & after results was nothing short of amazing! If your looking to have either your car or bike detailed, be sure to give Shane a call. Thanks again.... See more

01.01.2022 Brandons 2017 BMWS1000R received all of our attention over the last 3 months. The tuning of this European platform is so vastly different to any Japanese manufacturer & really tested our abilities to perfect it to the owners likings. The before & after comparison is from tuning alone. The before comparison was already tuned with a PCV, which was removed & we retuned the OEM Ecu using our Rexer/Alientech products. The results clearly speak for themselves, but what it doesnt ...show is the huge improvement in low / mid throttle operation. A combination of remapping the fuel, ignition, ETV, torque, engine load & engine limiter tables was all required to achieve this awesome result. Before= 153Hp & 76ftlb After= 168Hp & 83ftlb A true 10% gain in tuning alone! See more

01.01.2022 Another awesome function we are implementing in Daniel's Link ECU , Rolling antilag / Latched launch control. Here we are testing the system statically. 4500rpm, boost will build anywhere from 5-14psi! Imagine the look on other drivers faces when you do this next to them on the (closed circuit race track)

01.01.2022 Happy EOFY to me! When your new European motorcycle tuning software needed an extra screen to be added to your tuning laptop to streamline the mapping & logging process & that extra screen is almost the same size as 1 of the dyno controller screens, there is only 1 sensible thing to do... Upgrade the dyno screens of coarse! Twin 50" LED TV/monitor pivoting wall-mount upgrade for our Mainline Dynolog ProHub2000.... Seconds as the kids movie / gaming room Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers
