25.01.2022 What a difference a year makes. On 29 October 2019 there was nearly 100 bush fires burning across the state, with some fires at Emergency Warning level. Twelve ...months to the day, weather conditions are very different, as is the level of fire activity. Remember fire conditions will return, so why not take the time now to discuss your plan with your family. See more

22.01.2022 We are so grateful and fortunate to be surrounded by supportive Clubs in our area. This week we received two generous donations from The Pacific Palms Rec Club whose donation will go towards updating our computer & printer and Club Forster who held a large fundraiser at the start of the year and spilt the money between several local brigades . We thank the Community and the Clubs for consistently fundraising for Your local #nswrfs brigade allowing Us to serve our community and members in the best and safest way we can .

19.01.2022 Our brigade members that attended the 2019/2020 Bush Fires over many months, have been presented with a Premiers Citation to recognise and thank them for their outstanding service, selflessness, courage and resilience over this time. We are incredibly proud of Our Brigade Members and their efforts, as we know You the Community are also. We look forward to presenting the Premier Citations to those who were not able to make the presentation. An extra Thank You to two people, Kate and Caroline , that were there to support Our members tirelessly in the background. A huge well done to You all, and Thank You for Your service.

15.01.2022 The fire danger in our area today, Saturday 29 November is Very High and all fire permits are suspended. Under these conditions you should review your bush fire... survival plan, keep yourself informed about conditions and be ready to act if necessary. For current information on fires in the area visit www.rfs.nsw.gov.au or download the Fires Near Me app for smartphones. If you see a fire and no fire trucks in attendance call triple zero (000) immediately. See more

04.01.2022 A great account of Forster-Tuncurry Black Summer 2019-2020 from our mates at Fire and Rescue Forster . We worked along side by side along with so many other brigades from near and far during these Fires . Reading their recount and looking at the photos it seems unimaginable that it happened and how dangerous and devastating it was. The reacount is similar to Our own at the time , and we were also present at the locations some of the photos are taken. #bushfireready #getready #nswrfs
