25.01.2022 Submission | REDCLIFFE PIER: The owners name of this houseboat is Chris. He was asleep last night when his boat slipped its anchor and floated towards the rock...s near Redcliffe Pier. Chris has been there all day with his boat unable to get it off the rocks at high tide today. He has an injured shoulder and back so is operating with one good shoulder. Its raining at the moment so weather is not so great. Chris has to wait until high tide at midnight tonight to try and winch his boat off the rocks on his own. He is OK for supplies - I checked in with him on that. I feel powerless to help him with his boat though. Please share amongst our lovely Moreton/Redcliffe community or tag any boatie mates you may have that might be able to go and lend Chris a hand tonight at midnight ! Really lovely guy who has just found himself in an unfortunate situation ! See more
