12.01.2022 What a great first day at the TAVAS Great War Flying Display. There was a lot of interest in the aircraft and we had the opportunity to show them through the Dakota. Great displays were completed by a number of WW1, WW2 aircraft and those of the current RAAF with a FA18 Super Hornet and C-17. A great thanks to our volunteers for their assistance and support.

11.01.2022 Today Dave was lucky enough to be able to lend a hand with a photo shoot involving some pretty spunky bikes and the SNJ. While there we did managed to get our hands a little dirty on the DAK. Keep an eye out for our upcoming newsletter which will have an update on everything we have been doing behind the scenes and what the plan is going forwards. - Kate

10.01.2022 For the last year and a touch Dave and his team at Complete Aircraft Care have been working on an overhaul of an Australian Build P-51D Mustang. It is with great pleasure and excitement that I can say the Mustang Flights Australia CA18 MK21 Mustang "Snifter" has returned to the skys once more. A Post overhaul test flight on CA18 MK21 Mustang "Snifter" was completed successfully on Monday 21/5/18. Thank you to Paul from Against the Wind for filming this memorable occasion and for producing this sort clip of a forthcoming video of the test flights.

Your support is very much appreciated. 2017 looks to be a very exciting and busy year for us, with the aim still to have Oklahoma Gal flying again in 2018. We will post a update on the current status and plans for 2017 very soon.... Have a safe and exciting 2017 from all at Pacific Dakota Restorations

10.01.2022 When I was around 15 years old working at Shoreham Airport in the UK, Mark Hanna landed in his Corsair for an airshow. Walking out to the aircraft to have a look, Mark jumped off the wing and said hi. He asked if I would I like to have a look around the aircraft and sit in the cockpit. Marks kindness sits with me everyday, and I am fortunate to be in a position to do the same thing for others. Today was one of those days and it was such an privilege to take the time to sho...w people and especially the children around the Dakota & Mustang Flights Australia, CA18 Mustang. The smiles on their faces was just magic. One lad just loves the Mustang so much. The delight on his face when he walked up to the aircraft is worth the hard work involved to keep these aircraft flying, and then when I asked if he wanted to sit in the pilots seat well... you can only imagine! Many years ago Mark Hanna took the 5 minutes out of his day to show me around the Corsair. This has stayed with me all these years and changed my life. Using the Dakota and other aircraft I am privileged to work on I hope I can do this for other people now and into the future. Believe in your Dreams Dave
