14.01.2022 Tired of your desk job? Now is the time to trade the office for the cockpit! We receive many questions regarding what it takes to become a professional pilot. Whichever path you choose to take in flying professionally, it requires a commercial pilot’s license. The commercial pilot license covers basic general flying skills as well as cross-country and instrument flying. Here in Oz there are two ways for you to get your commercial pilot license. You can opt for an int...egrated or non-integrated method. An integrated training course is an intensive program that combines ground theory with practical flight training in a structured way. The benefit of integrated training is that the flying experience required is reduced compared to the non-integrated training. In addition, the training time is generally shorter! The non-integrated training allows for more flexibility but requires more flight experience in total. It may take a longer period of time to attain the commercial pilot license but in return you can dictate a flying schedule to better suit your own needs. At Pacific we are accepting applications for our next aviation course intake starting on Jan 11th. Remember to apply by Dec 1st as positions are quickly filling up!
