15.01.2022 Wow...what an exciting week this has been at Active OOSH Pacific Palms. We have done a lot of experimenting - skittles experiment, ice cream and slime. Weve also enjoyed being creative with making paper Windmills and peg Planes. The playground fixed equipment was also a hit with the children.

14.01.2022 What a fantastic time we had last week at OOSH Palms. We had Pirates and Treasure Day, OOSH Police Academy, Mad Science and Slime Day, Carnival Day and MasterChef Junior Day.......There was face painting, jelly bean guessing, elephant toothpaste experiments, slime making, hidden treasure and cooking. The children loved making vegetarian rice rolls and competing in the "Nailed It" muffin decorating competition.

13.01.2022 Weve really enjoyed playing outdoors this week at Active OOSH - tennis, fixed equipment, handball and kicking the footy around. We also got creative with self portraits, painting, science experiments and making yummy scrumptious spaghetti.

12.01.2022 We have had so much fun at Active OOSH this past week. Weve been very creative this week making rock monsters, reading Book Marks, chalk art and tape art. We learnt about rain clouds and how they form and experimented with making rain clouds in a jar. Look forward to seeing you all at Active OOSH Vacation Care

12.01.2022 Another fabulous week at Active OOSH Pacific Palms. We coincided with the schools cultural days by implementing a few cultural activities this week. We also made bubble wands, decorated cookies and created salt art.

10.01.2022 The past two weeks have been extremely busy at Active OOSH. Weve had sooooo much fun!Weve spent a lot of time cooking- Tacos, pancakes and healthy vegetarian rice paper rolls with dipping sauce. The children have engaged in physical activities such as Oz Tag, handball, skipping, soccer and skittles. The Minute to Win It games and Lego competition was a real hit with the kids. We always love to be creative at Active OOSH, we made Blinking Origami Eyes, Who Are We Art, Cloud Dough, balloon rockets and lots lots more. Come and join us next week for some more fun activities!

10.01.2022 What an exciting week we had at Vacation Care....We started with OOSH Olympics, the kids loved the egg and spoon race and battling it out in a game of tug of war. We had space invader day which we created green erupting aliens. Art attack day was a favourite with the kids! We Tie dyed shirts, made sand in a bottle necklaces, sprout cups and got our hands dirty with clay sculpting. We even created our own winter wonderland and made fake snow and snow globes. We finished the week with OOSH cinema day and enjoyed popcorn and hot chocolate.

09.01.2022 We've been very creative the last couple of weeks designing LEGO Marble Mazes, Colourful Paper Plate Rainbows, Finger Puppets, Painting, Clay pots, Serps and designing Paddle Pop Stick Boats. The children also participated in YOGA, limbo, handball and played on the fixed equipment just to name a few of the fun outdoor activities we provide at Active OOSH Pacific Palms.

09.01.2022 Wow this week went fast....time flies when youre having fun . This week we created a Tornado in a Bottle, made vegetable and noodle rice paper rolls, created nail polish marbling art (pencils), melted crayons (art) and made some wonderful dream catchers.

09.01.2022 Dear Families, We have become aware of distressing reports about a very graphic video circulating on social media platforms. The Australian Governments eSafety Commissioner and National Suicide Prevention Adviser to the Prime Minister have released a joint statement which advises parents, carers and educators against drawing young peoples attention to the issue unnecessarily, so as not to peak curiosity. Our Educators have been informed about the situation and will be k...eeping a close eye on the children in our care so that they can respond to any child who may have seen or heard about this content. Parents will also be notified of any child who is at risk of having seen or heard about such content. Social Media Apps are not installed or permitted on any Active OOSH devices, and children bringing their own devices are not allowed to use social media platforms while at OOSH. 07.01.2022 Fun, fun, fun......that’s what it’s all about at Active OOSH Pacific Palms. The past couple of weeks we’ve experience so much rain but this hasn’t stopped the kids from enjoying their time at OOSH. We’ve been busy playing on the fixed equipment, making bird seed hangers, decorating Halloween masks and creating scary paddle pop faces. Bingo and LEGO competitions, decorating cookies, skipping and dancing.

We have been fortunate to fill her position with the very talented Mel Robins (and Batman). Mel lives in Pacific Palms with her husband and children and is committed to continuing the excellent service at Pacific Palms Public School. We will have a celebration next Tuesday afternoon for Brittanie moving to Forster and Mel starting at Palms. All children are welcome to attend. Welcome to Active OOSH Mel and congrats Brit!
