22.01.2022 Exciting News: 6 Teachers from our school have been nominated, by members of the community, in the Hot 91 Apple for the Teacher competition. The winning teacher, class and school will be determined by the highest number of public votes



21.01.2022 A big thank you to the dedicated group of parents, community members and volunteers who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make our school a better place for all. Thank you also to all the families who support the P&C's events and businesses - our fundraisers, Paradise Cafe, Uniform Shop and Paradise Kids Club. Happy P&C Day 2020 - Pacific Paradise State School is proud of our P&C!

21.01.2022 School Photo Day- Wednesday 5th August Students have been given envelopes to order school photos online or send with money on the day of photos. Sibling photo envelopes are available at the school office.... Students are required to wear full school uniform (no sports shirts) on the day of photos. Any late orders will incur a $15 late fee. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, our photographers are unable to assist your child with grooming (eg. neaten hair/uniform etc). Please assist by ensuring your child presents neat and tidy on photo day. Wet wipes, hand sanitizer and tissues will be available for student use throughout the day.

19.01.2022 Hot 91 Cricks USC Thunder Netball sessions This week we had the Hot 91 Cricks Sunshine Coast USC: University of the Sunshine Coast, Australia Thunder Netball session at our school. Girls in year 4, 5 & 6 nominated to attended the session run by players in the USC Thunder team. Girls played netball skill games and received a sample bag after the session as well as meeting Lucy Lightning the mascot from the Sunny Coast Lightning. The girls enjoyed the session.

16.01.2022 Well what a show 'n' tell we have had at our school today.... The NRL - National Rugby League Premiership Trophy visited our school. Thanks so much to the Melbourne Storm families for allowing our students and teachers to view and have photos with your trophy. 06.01.2022 Rugby League Well done to our boys and two girls who played in the Mark West Development Rugby League Cup Carnival at Nambour Crushers. After playing 2 pool rounds and then a Grand Final totalling 100 minutes our team won the final. Congratulations to these players who got through the carnival playing 13 a side but only having one reserve for the day. Their effort to play for each other and as a team was very pleasing. Thank to parents for supporting our players. Girls Rugby ...League Well done to our Girls who recently played in the Girls 9 a side League carnival. The girls played really well winning all their games. The improvement in these girls was great. Sunshine Coast and Nambour District Representatives Congratulations to all our students who gained selection in Nambour District or Sunshine Coast Regional teams so far this year, as is the case every year they will receive a District/Regional representative certificate and have their photo taken for the newsletter. 03.01.2022 The Sunshine Coast Show (Nambour Show) has been cancelled for 2020, however, Friday 12th June remains a gazette holiday. The Sunshine Coast region (former Maroochy Shire Council) will continue to mark its agricultural show holiday with a public holiday.

01.01.2022 It is wonderful to have all our students back at school. Our Paradise Cafe is back open again for morning tea and lunch with a new Winter menu. Our Winter specials include homemade soup and baked beans & cheese jaffles. ... We are trying to be cash free so we are asking all families, where possible, to order using our online ordering system or use contactless card payment. Thank you, the P&C Association

01.01.2022 Today is OSHC Educators Day where we recognise the wonderful work our Paradise Kids Club Educators do caring for our children outside school hours. This year they have been even more amazing as they continued to care for the children of essential workers during the COVID-19 lockdown.
