The sport of reining is challenging and requires a consistent method from the trainer. Favourite Manoeuver? The roll back is a great manoeuvre. When you understand how to break it down, you realise all the benefits you getting from it for the other manoeuvres. Current Horses? At the moment the horses in work include 2,3 and 4 year olds by 'Not Ruf At All' we have bred. What do you bring to RTA Clinics? During lessons and clinics, I like to make the student understand how horses think to make the reining training easier. Giving back to the sport... We do sponsor as much as we can. Also, over the last 20 years, we have been importing frozen semen of reining horses to improve the genetics of the reining horses in Australia. Outside of Reining? Breeding and training take all the seven days of every week. I still enjoy riding a cutting horse when possible ...
