22.01.2022 The first SPORTER / HUNTER Match was held at the Duncan Range for 2021 in hot and humid conditions. It brought together a large number of shooters from within Q...LD to across the border at Murwillumbah! It was shot over 300, 400, 500 and 600 yards in Standard and Open categories and produced some great competition between all. It brought together Queens Champions, seasoned shooters and those new to the sport. The Duncan Range certainly didn't play favourite to any as the heat, mirage and wind conditions became more difficult to read. Each stage was only 7 minutes for each shooter, so there was little chance to sit back and wait for a condition to return. CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL Everyone played their part to make this another great day of shooting while allowing many to meet those from other disciplines and pursuits. Volunteers (shooters) helped move shades, transport monitors across the ranges - a BBQ lunch was cooked up for all to enjoy as the winners enjoyed the fruits of their labour.
