18.01.2022 Absolutely devastated for the extraordinary team at Polyglot Theatre for losing their vital funding. The Federal Governments cuts to arts funding has affected some 40+ vital and prolific arts organisations, at a time when the arts have never been more important for community building and keeping everyone entertained and connected through this strange time. The shock and sadness about this news is being felt all over the country. Sending hugs and strength to the amazing Sue Giles and her team!

15.01.2022 A lovely memory from 12 Months ago. It was an honor to take my first show to Showcase produced under my own company. Sadly this week I was meant to be pitching for another of my shows for my second year running, but the event could not go ahead due to Covid19. Hopefully by this time next year this sad and strange time of closed theatres will be a distant memory.

06.01.2022 All our major arts organizations are closed from tomorrow. A necessary, but sad situation. Just waiting for public transport, schools and entertainment providers (movies, pubs, etc) to go into lock down too, so we can truly protect the spread of the virus through our community.
05.01.2022 Today has been horrible watching the cancellation announcements come through back to back. But this is a big one for a lot of independent artists and comedians, who plan all year to make the bulk of their income at this Festival. It is the right thing to do, but still very concerning for our industry and for what is still to come.
