04.01.2022 Our PACK & SEND Australia Balmain service centre regularly takes on the biggest shipping challenges! This time, packing 2 large panels of art for dispatch to the USA. This type of art is still soft and even wet, due to the heavy paint layers and takes about 2 years to dry, paint protrudes from the canvas on all edges and can't be touched, wrapped or put on the ground. To get canvas delivered safely without touching the painting we has to create a custom heavy duty crate, they built a frame for each panel with offsets all around creating some suspension shock absorbers, so the art doesn't get knocked. Then loaded the massive piece on large truck and into a cargo plane for transport to San Francisco! #Nolimits #AnythingAnywhere
