20.01.2022 Lifted from; Whispers for the Soul When the going gets tough may I resist my first impulse to wade in, fix, explain, resolve, and restore.... May I sit down instead. When the going gets tough may I be quiet. May I steep for a while in stillness. When the going gets tough may I have faith that things are unfolding as they are meant to. May I remember that my life is what it is, not what I ask for. May I find the strength to bear it, the grace to accept it, the faith to embrace it. When the going gets tough may I practice with what I'm given, rather than wish for something else. When the going gets tough may I assume nothing. May I not take it personally. May I opt for trust over doubt, compassion over suspicion, vulnerability over vengeance. When the going gets tough may I open my heart before I open my mouth. When the going gets tough may I be the first to apologize. May I leave it at that. May I bend with all my being toward forgiveness. When the going gets tough may I look for a door to step through rather than a wall to hide behind. When the going gets tough may I pause, reach out a hand, and make the way easier for someone else. When the going gets tough may I remember that I'm not alone. May I be kind. When the going gets tough may I choose love over fear. Every time.

07.01.2022 ***Permission granted to post photos*** This is my young Padaba Yogi, Piper. Piper joins her Mum for Live/On-Line classes. She sent me this message. Piper wanted to join us ever since she was 7 years old, now she’s 10. Piper’s been waiting patiently. Sharing some strategies for a yoga practice at home (below). I hope you get to practice especially during this Easter Break. ... Have a lovely and safe Easter everyone. Remember, please do the right thing and STAY HOME Some strategies from Padaba Yoga to set up your Yoga space In a busy household. 1/Set yourself up prior to yoga and set the intention for peace and calm. 2/ Let your household know that this is your time out to re-boot and re-set yourself. Please invite them to have the home quiet for an hour with you, if you can . I know it can be a challenging request. Be patient. 3/Invite your houseshold to practice yoga with you Peace and Calm can be infectious. We like this kind of infection . Calm Parents, Calm Kids==Peace, therefore Calm Household Don’t you agree? 4/ Keep your room at the right temperature, turn on your AC or on heater if you need. 5/ Have your essential props ie: Blankets and eye pillow close by. 6/ Now, set to Bliss out. It is more challenging for most as we have a busier household 24/7 as we work from home and home school the children. We just need to lovingly communicate our need for some chill time for ourselves. See you across the screen and on the mat soon! Shanti Annah

01.01.2022 Makes my heart sing... I admire the discipline and drive of these beautiful souls who look after their health and wellbeing. So important especially during these times. I won’t be here today, if not for them. ... One student messaged to say I am so glad I found you And another said Thank you for holding space for us. My daughter loves it! My body and mind needed our time together. We are going through a difficult and challenging time as a human race. All we can do is be there, and be present for each other when we can. Be kind and love each other. It will take awhile before we see each other again in a group environment sharing physical space. This is the way it is for us now and we will make the most and the best out of it. We can do this together. We will get through this. Please reach out if you are needing support by way of regular Yoga practice. Om Shanti
