21.01.2022 Meet Dutch Dutch came to us over the weekend when her owners were worried about her not being herself, lethargic, a temperature and a discharge from her vulva when she’s not due to be on heat. Dutch was extremely sick and rushed into surgery and you’ll see in the second picture just how big and infected her uterus was. A huge thanks to Vet Bec from @warwickvetperth who did the surgery for us. A bit of information about a Pyometra, The name of this disease is Latin for pus-uterus and describes a life threatening uterine infection that most typically affects older, intact (or unspayed), female dogs.

21.01.2022 Good evening valued clients of Padbury Vet Clinic, with the ramp up on precautions and things we need to do to help stop the spread. We are now doing credit card eft payments only and we are staggering consults and pickup/drop off of grooming animals and also surgery patients. This is to help us so we can continue to help your furr babies. Any questions please feel free to message us or call the clinic. Thankyou to everyone for your patience and understanding. Dr Roberts and team.

21.01.2022 Welcome to our newest foster babies. YES there is still kittens around a lovely lady from out on semi rural property called us to say shed found these sweeties (and another that they cant catch) in their garden. They were riddled in fleas and skinny as so after a check over with Dr Roberts and a bath & a Di fleaing by nurse Megz theyre now tucked up in bed with a full tummy just in time for this wet weather. The lady who found them is still looking out for mum and kitten who are still hanging around. These little ladies will Not be up for adoption for a while, we will advertise when they are. please desex your cats.

20.01.2022 This morning nurse Megz and her son dropped off a couple of donations to a beautiful rescue down south called @nopupcleftbehind. The ladies that run this rescue are helping pups that have cleft palates and would without intervention sadly perish. A cleft palate is an opening between the mouth and the nose that happens when the tissues separating these two cavities do not grow together properly. ... Purebred dogs and cats have a higher incidence of cleft palate, and brachyceph...alic breeds, with their short stubby faces, are most commonly affected. We donated some milk, puppy pads and probiotics but the rescue is still in need of lots more to keep helping these beautiful little bubbas. If youd like to help out visit their insta and Facebook page like and share it and if you can donate #cleftpalatepup #padburyvetclinic #nopupcleftbehind #cleftpalatepuprescue #perth #beautiful #frenchbulldog #frenchiesofinstagram See more

19.01.2022 One of the more severe cases of those dreaded grass seeds . They can do a lot of damage . Long haired dog that owners were unaware of what was lurking beneath , this poor doggie had to be shaved very short in order to get them all out and cleaned and being sent home with antibiotics

19.01.2022 Beautiful Gruffy who was abandoned on our doorstep 14 years ago due to Panicked , Unfortunate circumstances we think and would love to let the person know that he has had the most lovely life with a lovely family who love him very much

13.01.2022 Happy Easter to all of our beautiful clients, patients, colleagues, family and friends. We hope you have all had a happy and safe weekend. this is Mumma cat she was brought to us as a stray along with her tribe of kittens. Now that the kittens have all grown up and been adopted it’s now hopefully her turn. She is the most affectionate stray cat we have encountered in a long time and loves to smooch we are unknown as to how well she tolerates dogs but we know she doesn’t love other felines, she likes older kids and lots of pats. If you have room in your hearts and home for this beautiful lady please call the clinic on Tuesday for all her details and/or to book a viewing/meet &greet with her.

09.01.2022 Good evening valued clients, we would like to touch base with the ongoing recent panic of Covid 19. We are following closely and monitoring the advice from the government and health organizations of Australia and what they recommend. But for now we are going to continue to stay open to help treat all of your furr babies. We do however ask that you read up on this virus and if you or anyone youve been around has traveled over seas or to affected areas recently please do not come in. If its an urgent matter please phone ahead so we can advise you on how and if we can help, we already disinfect all floors and tables but we are now going to be disinfecting even more areas to help stop the spread of this horrid virus. So please if you are not well or have traveled recently please self quarantine and stay safe. Love Padbury Vet.

08.01.2022 Happy mother’s day to all of our staff, clients, family and friends. We hope all your human and animal children behaved for you.

07.01.2022 Happy Easter to our beautiful patients and their owners. Please be advised we are closed all long week end for a very much needed rest. If your babies are sick at all please go straight to one of the many 24/7 vets around. The closest to Padbury are Vet 24 in Balcatta or EVH in Wangara.

06.01.2022 How cute is this little old man Rambo, he is staying with us at the moment whilst his dad is away. He is almost 16years old and Nurse Megz felt sorry for him today and snuggled him up in a blanket.

06.01.2022 Bit of light humor for this hot Saturday

05.01.2022 On a lighter note , look at these cuties in for their needles

05.01.2022 Edit: the lady in question actually called to apologize, it just goes to show social media works both ways good and badly. But wed like to thank all our beautiful clients for the lovely words. It has come to our attention by some very upset clients that a rumor is being spread on a French bulldog page, that we are putting healthy animals to sleep saying they have corona virus. 1 this is absolutely ludicrous 2 dogs dont get the human strain of corona virus and 3 we take an oath to help animals not put them to sleep for no good reason.

04.01.2022 Beautiful lil Nelly , 19 years old . Isnt she just gorgeous

01.01.2022 Zoom in and check out this girls beautiful eyes that are reflecting the lights

01.01.2022 Introducing Reggie aka Regina George she is one of bottle fed babies. She came to nurse Megz in mid January during a summer storm. She was wet and cold and less then 24hrs old. But she pulled through and has had many adventures since. Even at 2wks old going on a camping trip as she obviously needed feeding and toileting every couple of hours. She has the happiest personality and is always keen on a cuddle, even putting a paw on either side of my face to hold me. Because she... is hand raised she has not had the easiest life with a few complications but she is a fighter and pulled through. She learnt to use the litter box but had a small infection on her bottom so ended up having a few issues toileting but is on the mend. And ready to find her forever home at the moment she is at the clinic chilling with our resident Mumma cat (who is also up for adoption) if you’d like to meet or adopt one of our girls please call the clinic. 93078811 See more
