21.01.2022 ~ IMPORTANT CENTRE UPDATE ~ Today Centre Management has been advised that a customer who has tested positive to COVID-19 recently visited Paddington Central. A...s advised by Qld Health, the customer visited the following stores: Fri 19 March Woolworths: 10am 10.15am Bakers Delight: 10.15am 10.30am Tues 23 March Woolworths: 9.10am 9.25am Woolworths will undertake a full deep clean within their store and Qld Health will work with each of the affected retailers where possible to carry out contact tracing within those dates and times. 15.01.2022 Have you had your flu shot yet? If not, now’s the time to arrange yours. I popped in to get my flu shot yesterday from Brodie at Paddington Central Pharmacy and... had a great service! Now more than ever, it’s vital for all Queenslanders aged six months and older to get vaccinated against influenza, and the best time to get one is between mid-April until the end of May. Free vaccines are now available to eligible Queenslanders. You can also get yours from your local pharmacist. Also remember, it’s recommended to wait at least 14 days between the COVID-19 vaccine and the influenza vaccine.

Nor...th Metro Public Health Service said the Camp Mountain woman visited a number of locations while unknowingly infected, including: - Samford IGA, Samford Caltex and Samford Patisserie & Caf on December 15 and 16 - Spokes Caf at Samford on December 17 - Aspley Medical Centre, Sullivan and Nicolaides and Pharmasave on December 21 - The Prince Charles Hospital emergency department on December 22 and 23 between 10.30pm and 1am. Anyone who develops measles-like symptoms within the next week or two should stay home and contact their GP for advice. See more

01.01.2022 MEASLES ALERT: A measles warning has been issued for Brisbanes north side following a confirmed case of the highly infectious virus in a student from Taringa, ...who has recently returned from overseas. A spokesman for Metro Norths Public Health Unit said the man was infectious but did not yet have a rash when he attended a number of locations on the north side last week. These include: Brisbane Airport Domestic Terminal on Wednesday 15 July. He was a passenger on Qantas flight QF524 from Sydney. University of Queensland, St Lucia between Thursday 16 July and Saturday 18 July Indooroopilly Shopping Centre on either 16 or 17 July People who may have been visiting these same areas during that period should be on high alert for symptoms.
