20.01.2022 I get asked about canoe capacity quite a lot so I took a picture. This is a Wenonah Prospector 16 that is loaded with 2 x 60L barrels, a 120L drybag, a 30L barrel, a 35L esky (cooler, chillybin), 2 x 10L water drums (salt water venue), a full-size camp chair, 2 x small accessory bags, and was paddled by 2 big guys and still had more than enough freeboard to handle the conditions.

19.01.2022 We battled a headwind most of the day today and then got sidelined for an hour when a thunderstorm rolled in. Paddling into camp wet and late wasn't so bad when it looked like this.

12.01.2022 EXCITING NEWS: We apologise for any inconvenience but Paddle and Portage Canoes is temporarily closed until 25th November while we relocate our business premises and also our home. When we re-open you'll find us in the beautiful Kangaroo Valley which is conveniently home to some of the most beautiful paddling in the country!
