25.01.2022 Another first for me this weeks job remove a 25mm / 1 inch thick of marble from an alter in a Catholic Church in Sydney. A very unique and tricky job as it was bonded to 60 mm of concrete.

24.01.2022 I am in the process of making a promotional video for my new multi angled up to 45 degrees internal pipe saw which I will be releasing soon and I am wondering which one of you diamond blade manufacturers would like to have their blades featured on my pipe saw when I make it public. My machine takes laminated silent blades 14 16 18 20 and 24 with 60mm arbor. This space is available for good quality blades and for your company to be promoted in the video. PM me if interest...ed. Kind regards Paddy Brosnan See more

22.01.2022 BISS alloy 500 is a very tough, hard wearing material which makes drilling it extremely difficult. This week I carried out some testing on BISS alloy 500. I was trying to find the quickest and most cost effective way to drill holes. The test plate was 12mm x 200mm x 600mm. I tested 31mm and 42mm UDRILLS and also 16mm and 40mm carbide annular cutters without much success. I then reverted back to my custom-built hydraulic blast furnace drills and successfully drilled an 85mm di...ameter hole through the 12mm test plate in just 2 minutes! These indexable cutters are proving to be a very cost effective method for on-site drilling. I can design and build different diameter cutters as well as the hydraulic drilling machines that drive them.

11.01.2022 My new internal metal multi angled pipe saw is progressing nicely I have overcome a critical stage of the cutting mechanism all of which is designed by me I can design and build machines to tackle any job

09.01.2022 My new internal pipe saw is now one step closer to becoming a reality! Guys, this saw is going to reduce injuries to us operators. It will drastically reduce manual handling and exposure to toxic dust/mist. My prototype has successfully cut multi-angle pipes up to 45 degrees from 900 mm to 3.2 m. By fitting different blades, Ive been able to cut concrete, steel, ductile iron and refractory lined pipes.... Ive just received my patent pending number so the saw is now available for demonstration on site. Contact me for more information on [email protected] Pipe in picture is a DN1050 mm concrete stormwater pipe.

09.01.2022 Removing the sandstone blocks from the basement

08.01.2022 For anyone thats interested this is how you set up a refractory block to cut the chamfers with a wall saw. I have cut a couple of thousand tonnes of this stuff its like AZS fuzed alumina very hard to cut. It is absolutely crucial that you put the time into the setup as you cannot afford to stuff it up, its very expensive material and must be cut very precise.
