23.01.2022 Happy FIFA World Cup :)

20.01.2022 Keep your pets cool, it's heatwave season. Prevent heatstroke in your pets this summer. Provide adequate shade, frozen water blocks in water bowls, multiple full water bowls for outdoor pets and native wildlife. Some tips for exercising dogs from Dr Katrina. Stay cool!

19.01.2022 Happy Easter!!! Just a few things to keep in mind over the Easter celebrations: 1. Chocolate eggs! Theobromine and caffeine in chocolate can be toxic, and the foil wrappings can cause gut obstruction. ... Tip: Don't feed your pets chocolate, and make sure all choc eggs are collected after Easter eggs hunts. 2. Hot cross buns contain grapes, raisins and sultanas. Grape foods can cause kidney failure in dogs. Tip: Let the kids know that hot cross buns are delicious, but NOT an appropriate treat for your dog. 3. Easter Lily is toxic to cats, they can cause kidney failure (even if only chewed). Tip: Cat owners please avoid these flowers in your house. 4. Lollies with artificial sweetener (xylitol) can be toxic to pets. Tip: Keep sugar-free lollies somewhere your pets can't get to them. Ps. The humans at Padstow Vet will be enjoying and eating all of the above (except for the lilies), in moderation of course :)
