15.01.2022 Your baby’s growth and development are a great source of joy. Would you like to understand more about what is happening? The ENACT trial is a clinical study through the University of Queensland and Children’s Health Queensland comparing babies at low family risk of developing autism with babies at increased family risk. You are invited to participate in the trial. In return, you will come to understand more about your baby’s growth and development, and you’ll be helping us to... understand the same. If your baby has no first (parents, siblings), second (half siblings, grandparents, aunts and uncles) or third degree (great grandparents, cousins) relatives with autism, we would like to hear from you. We are looking to recruit 30 low-risk infants for developmental assessments at six and 12 months of age, to compare with infants at increased family risk of autism. The assessments will take place at the Centre for Children's Health Research in South Brisbane. It will take 60 minutes to complete at six-month assessment and 90 minutes at 12 months. We really do need your help. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated! For more information, please contact Dr Andrea McGlade at [email protected] or you can sign up online here https://qcprrc.centre.uq.edu.au/project/enact
