14.01.2022 Paint and Sip Studios Australia are looking for a Studio Artist to lead step-by-step painting experiences (using acrylic paint as the medium) to join our Rockhampton team. This position will require you to set up, facilitate events and pack up and clean up. The majority of shifts will be evenings and weekends and will involve public sessions, private parties and group events, childrens' birthday parties and, potentially, regular childrens' classes. There is also the option to... include Art Therapy sessions (if applicant is suitably qualified/experienced). Responsibility and flexibility with hours in this role is a must. The number of shifts per week will vary so this would be suitable as a second job, or casual contract position. This is a great opportunity for a person that wants to be a part of a growing, exciting industry and for someone who has a genuine flair with people, and wants to get paid to paint and party. Key criteria include: - Art qualifications or experience in art tutoring (Art Therapy experience will also be highly regarded); - Great customer service skills and ability to engage with children and adults alike; - Outgoing personality and an interest in guiding groups on how to replicate paintings step-by-step in a timed, yet fun and creative environment; - Being able to speak clearly as you will be giving painting instructions to groups; - Ability to multitask - this is important in running the experience and ensuring everyone has the attention they need whilst managing expectations through the fixed time-frame of the session; - Ability to bring on new locations / customers.
