25.01.2022 Progress at out Lara re-paint. Undercoat on 75% of the woodwork throughout the home, colours are being matched as we speak, some colours we have onsite..good to go! Jhye has done a bang up job of sanding and prep with me following behind him applying the enamels. Detail fill and caulk is done ready for the beginning of glossing this afternoon. It's the old school process here, oil based paint on trims, all brush and roller work, detailed cornices, it's tedious compared to ou...r usual jobs and that is a welcome change. 22.01.2022 Final photos of our Highton project for @derbyshirehomes....and huge thanks to the main man @papaspainting for passing this one over to us! Few details to tidy up once everything has been done by the other trades but it's 99.9% done and looks fantastic. Back early next week to finish and then it's ready for the owners to move into. 22.01.2022 DETAILS. Painting cornices like this is a dying craft, we early get to do it these days. This one we did a while ago, but after a lot of years we are back working on this period reproduction home and are still proud of what we did here, so thought we'd share it. This particular cornice took me ages to detail. Small artist brushes, hours and hours of painting highlighting every single detail, then to finish a light brush over with a sponge to pick out the tips of the roses,... not to mention the many many sample pots to select colours. 21.01.2022 First day back for 2021 and first day onsite at Ocean Grove for @technikconstruction, getting this large space all painted up for @kieseraustralia. Looks massive but painting is pretty straight forward. Only walls and doors and a few small ceilings in the rest rooms, little bit of work off the scaff on the high side around the big windows Should look fantastic when it's all done. 19.01.2022 Happy Saturday! Yet another job to fit in. Work the weekend here in #werribee and get this one moving with a wrap up by the end of next week, in and around our other jobs. We are most definitely playing catch up at the moment as we look for new team members, so it's do whatever it takes in the meantime to get the work done. Pretty basic one this, just a freshen up to get it looking it's best before it hits the market. It's in pretty good condition. 18.01.2022 Second day at out Ocean Grove project and it's basically sealed up and ready for a.good sand and detail fill before we get stick into the final coats. Be back and forth on this one working around other trades bit the aim this week is to get it up to a point where the big room can have flooring laid and everything else is ready to finish off layer on.

18.01.2022 That's the big room pretty much done at our Highton project, except for the skirts and de masking and I have to say I'm absolutely wrecked! Back over the weekend to tidy up a few walls and bits and pieces ready for floor sanding Monday. 14.01.2022 STATEMENT. Another stunning cornice and ceiling detail.on our current project, and possibly my favourite. This one's in the entry of the home, combining a deep deep on the walls and some fine cutting in to highllight, We cheated a bit here with gold paint rather than use gold leaf, but it still looks grand enough to be I'm a stately heritage home. Keep in mind this house was a new build 20 years ago, so old it's not!
