24.01.2022 Starting on a blank canvas can be a daunting exercise. Pristine white & waiting for paint. I started by adding random colour till an idea formed. 10.01.2022 "Garden Sprites" For me our garden is an intimate space with a soul of its own. The plants seem female somehow. Not so much the trees, they are another story, but the myriad of flowering plants crammed into our patch if earth. Our garden is a haven for us & so many other creatures. it is my bliss & my inspiration. I have reworked this oil painting as it never felt quite finished.
